I drive to Lake Point Denny?s almost every week. I live about 20 minutes from this location. It?s west from Salt Lake City off... I-80. I travel to this location only because I get the best service! Such a greatly improved experience! The new management has cleaned this place up, everyone is friendly, the food is perfect, no... more dirty tables or drug dealers hanging out. Okay, yes I am a Denny's bonafide lover...however I have had some "not so good" experiences. This particular Denny's always... delivers. Whenever I'm in Utah, I make it my business to do my 34 hr. reset at this Flying J at Lake Point. This Denny's isclean, staff are friendly and very attentive. The food is absolutely clean, well cooked and so delicious. By far one of myfavorite locations. I had pancakes and they were nice and fluffy, perfectly browned with the perfect crunch around theedges...OMG???????????? I also had the build your own omelette. I had in it spinach, turkey bacon, onions, peppers, swiss andprovolone cheese. One of the pictures I show the cheese pulling and the omelette was perfect. Eggs nice and fluffy andthoroughly cooked. I loved it. The potatoes were so good and I never get the hash browns, I usually get the red skins. Peopleseem to over cook the potatoes. These were like French fries cooked tender and fluffy with the right crispiness. I recommendthis Denny's to anyone in the area or visiting. I don't know how to do this. I normally like what I get. This steak was supposed to be medium. It was so far past well done, it... looks like it had been on the grill on the side for hours. I was so dumbstruck I couldn't complain. I love Denny's. This wasjust wrong. Fix this. A few months later and I returned here. I got breakfast. It was really good food. Service was OK, theywere busy and you could tell. This is a good place to stop by for a good meal. I had some contacts about my review above. Iwill eat here again, but I'm not going to change it, because it was accurate at the time. First impressions matter. Do a betterjob. There was no way my food should have been served like that. The experience was not great. The place was not very clean, not filthy, but not clean. The high chair for my grandson had to be... cleaned prior to him using it. My order was to come with eggs over easy. The eggs were more then well done and hard includingthe whites. The server was very prompt and polite. Read more
