Recent experience of takeaway: very bad experience made us wait extra 20 min for a takeaway order. I understand they were very... busy but the staff treated us very badly. I asked for a couple crushed peanut packs (after paying 71$) and they gave onereminding me that is extra. I was anyway ok to pay for it but the sass that the front desk person showed was bad. What a horrendously awful meal. I ordered the Pahyathai chicken which came with white rice and I order a side of shrimp rolls,... both to go. First the bag had no plasticware, napkins or sauces. The chicken was supposed to be a spicy meal according to themenu but I didn't sense any spice at all. The chicken dish was without flavor and amounted to 6 pieces of fried chicken that wasdry and flavorless sauce. It was basically fried chicken wings served on cabbage leaves. The rice was in a separate containerand again, flavorless. The shrimp rolls were nothing but a shrimp wrapped in a roll, no flavor or seasoning at all. Definitelynot worth the $30 I was charged. Ordered through UberEats. Way too expensive for what you get. $80 for two meals and a summer roll. Pad Thai with the glass... noodles tasted like seafood mixed with cardboard. My favorite food item to have there is the Tom Kha Gha soup, absolutely delicious. I do it with out chicken and ask for more... veggies. Their roti with curry, is best appetizer, and I usually get the drunken noodles or Pad thai. I go once every 2 weekswhen back living in my town. Read more
The best Thai food on the island, hands down. Everything is always perfect. I come here every week. My wife and I have gone to... Thailand several times and we still like Phayathai noodle dishes better than anywhere over there. Mimi always greets customerswarmly and treats them kindly, always offering great suggestions. The only thing I would change on their menu is the khao soi.It’s very good but the Chiang Mai style is a bit better. Read more
Very disappointed in this restaurant. I placed an order on doordash and after placing the order I called the restaurant directly... to confirm the order and to ask about the side of salad dressing. My friend (who speaks Thai) spoke to them and asked about thedressing choices because they sounded the same and also about the dressing portion size. They said both dressings were prettymuch thre same and only one side of dressing was provided, so we kindly asked for another if possible. They said sure and thatthey would provide two; which was very nice. The doordash driver picked up the order and called me to tell me the restaurantdecided they couldn't give us the two sides of salad dressing and would only give us one. Never ever had that happen before butwhatever. Fast forward to it being delivered, for this decently big salad they only gave us a HALF full side of dressing. So notonly did they at the last second take back giving us two sides but they only gave a half of a side dressing for this iceberglettuce $9 salad (pictures attached). I wasn't even able to eat the whole salad, there was practically no dressing. Salad aside,last week I ordered an appetizer called meKroop and was only given a measly three shrimp (used to be 5 shrimp) for an $10appetizer, this time they only provided two shrimp. I don't understand why they feel its okay to do this sort of thing to goodcustomers but after this situation, they've lost mine and my friends business for sure. Ordered the drunken noodle and it was amazing! Perfect texture to the chicken, egg noodles were perfect, loved the addition of... the tomato in it and the spice was the perfect amount.....not overpowering but definitely noticeable. Would definitely orderagain! Read more
