Prados is always delicious, and their service is usually good. I went after work tonight to pick up an online order and was... given the wrong one, but I didn't realize it until I had gotten home and done a few things around the house for a few minutes. It wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't splurged and gotten quite a bit more dollar-wise than what I received and what Inormally get. I drove back up to Prados, dreading finding parking (it is in an outlet mall, after all, but they're on an endthat does have a lot next to it), and wasn't too terribly happy by the time I got back there. I wasn't making a scene but wasrushing around trying to get in and out. They remade my meal when I asked them to, and the bartender gave me complimentarychips (I didn't realize the dip trio didn't come with chips and was planning on paying for them) in addition to a couple ofcoupons to use the next time I'm there, and there will definitely be a next time. I had sat at the bar waiting for a mealseveral weeks prior with this same bartender serving, and she was fantastic then as well. The only thing that keeps me fromgoing there weekly is that it can be pricey, but part of that is probably due to the higher-scale location. The food is alwaysreally good, though, and their margaritas are amazing. Plus, they have a margarita flight! Read more

I want to give it five stars.... We were greeted right away. Nice clean bar and restaurant. Waitress took our drink order and... told us about the specials. I got the top shelf Margarita and it is not as sweet as you typically get, and I really liked it,and my wife enjoyed her peach mojito. My wife ordered three tacos, and I the steak fajitas, along with a Jalapeno Dip. Thewaitress came back and told us the dip would take a while to make, and our main courses would more than likely come out before, but we said we would wait. Got the main event and it might of just been me, but it was all very bland. The plating was good, butI needed hot sauce. My wife enjoyed the tacos. The waitress said she would bring us more salsa and chips, but we did not getthem. We were finished with our meal and waited for about 10 minutes for this dip. It did arrive. It was hot, but was good. Iput some of the dip on my left over fajitas I had on my plate, and that was good. Now it took some time before we seen ourwaitress again to get our bill and a box for the dip. Maybe I need to try it again, I don't know. Read more

Before the patio was our favorite thing about this place! Not wild about the change from the booth benches to all tables. Booth... benches gave it a warm coziness feel. Tables feel too bare making you feel like you are seated in the parking lot. Hope thingsare add to create a better atmosphere. Food and drinks are consistently good. Inside seating has never been our favorite. Read more

Located in an upscale shopping plaza, the refreshing take on Mexican food is quite satisfying. Seeing the butternut squash... quesadillas on the menu is what drew me in. I mean what Mexican place has butternut squash. The high ceilings and clean moderndecor are other elements typically not part of most Mexican spots. Our waitress was super cool, and very happy to have the chefremake the butternut squash quesadillas when the came out undercooked. After the remake they were perfect. The complimentarysalsa that came out at the beginning perhaps some of the best salsa I have ever had. We also loved the queso funding andguacamole as appetizers. Their fries are huge and s Twisting and fantastic. Surprisingly they also have really good coffee. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant with really good coffee before today. So, check out Prados! Had some time for lunch. So Prados it is. Above average Mexican restaurant. Service is good, place is clean and the workers... actually work. Prices are a little high (it?s lake St. Louis) so I expect the food to really WOW me but it was good. I?ddefinitely come back. I had the nachos with shrimp (skimped on the shrimp) but definitely a great nacho concept, finally a chipwhere you get toppings on every bit?? minus shrimp. For my main course I had the kitchen sink burrito. I expected steak, shrimpand chicken, but at last I had too add these. It?s a basic burrito (at a high price). The star of the show is the salsa! Mygoodness I could just eat that. This alone brought them to 4 stars! So if your looking for an above average Mexican restaurantwith great vibes then this is it! Yes there are 5 stars out there, but I didn?t feel like driving. Read more

May have gone on a bad day. We were on lunch break, the rice and beans got to us not even warm. The corn tortillas were staling... on the edges. The actual flavor of the fried chicken tacos along with their speciality thanksgiving turkey of the month wasgood. If it was much fresher and hotter it would be a great little lunch spot. Service was extremely friendly tho :) Read more
