I was disappointed with this experience. We dined in and ordered from the kiosk. It was different but we all have to adapt to... today's challenges. What we shouldn't have to adapt to is rudeness. I asked the person who delivered the food for an extra bagof crackers and was told no. I only get 2. And she didn't say it nice, she snapped. We won't be going back. They have gotten rid of the servers! You now go to a kiosk and place your order. The thing that got me was the system still... asked for a tip. Who am I tipping? I had to walk to the counter, place my own order, get my own drink, and then we waited 42 minfor our food. It was weird. 4 people that came in after us got their orders 15 min before us. After I was tired of waiting Iwent to the counter and asked about our order the guy said -oh yeah I got you- walked back into the kitchen and picked up ourfood. Fantastic!! We hit up the drive-thru Thursday night and everything we ordered was well made: steak burgers, fries, chili mac and... shakes. In fact, it was SO good, we went again Saturday night... again, it was SO good!! We had not eaten food from this Steak'n Shake in probably close to two years. If you haven't visited in a while, give them a chance!! Read more

They changed it to kiosk ordering which was different. they were out of whipped cream for our shakes staff was okay sticky... tables and seats. Shakes were good but kinda runny wish it was thicker Read more
I always love going to Steak n Shake. I was very disappointed this time. The so called Steak burger did not have much meat on... it. Than the toppings were not what I asked for. Your chili is usually the best. It had kind of a sour taste. Also the guy atthe service window really needs help in how to Communicate with customers. Steak n Shake was always a treat. New owner very polite explained about the renovations. The guy in the Drive-Thru was super nice too and I think it's the first... time we've ever had hot fries from this location. They are usually always cold no matter what time of day we go. This time theywere nice and hot. Glad you bought the place and hope it goes well. Read more
Just a suggestion?when you have to close before the posted closing time, can you put a note on the drive through? I?ve been... there twice around 6:30-7 and have waited in the drive through with a line of cars only to figure out for myself that you musthave closed early. The lights were on. After waiting for a awhile I pulled up to the window. I saw 3 employees. I know they sawme but they wouldn?t even come to the window or answer the phone to say they had to close early. I understand if you don?t haveenough employees to stay open. A simple sign would be less frustrating. Otherwise I love the food and was happy to see it inbusiness again. (Hopefully) Read more
