Not impressed. The prices have doubled it?s very pricey for one person. The sausage was so spicy, not listed on menu, it was... almost inedible. Also menu an online is way out of date and the prices have skyrocketed. They also didn?t have wings or fries. Read more
Great bbq and just off the side of the road! Nice staff and I like the outdoor seating. Please note that it is outdoor seating... only on wooden tables and benches. Nice atmosphere and solid bbq. Brisket is only available by the sandwich and not by thepound. Read more

Food was not the best ribs are dry and not freshly cooked not Sure when they?re cooked as I live down the street and never smell... the smoke of said smoker. i live locally wanted to try the food contribute to local business. , I smoke hot links and ribs andpulled pork often however I don?t always wanna turn the smoker on and cook the meat did not taste like it was smoked or havegrill grate markings. The spoon bread was amazing and would definitely go back for it. But the meat was lacking seasoning ,smoke , and the bbq sauce watered down. Read more
Been living in lake station for 5 years moved here from Chicago,and I?ll have to say best damn place to eat period anywhere... close to here! First time trying there baby back ribs and I WILL be back!!! And for 23$ for a slab of ribs that good!!not gonnahear me complaining.. I don?t mind paying extra for the sides only had the baked beans but they were very good and can?t wait totry the pulled pork and Mac and cheese! Read more
Pros: I will say the brisket was not lacking in flavor. It was quite delicious. Congrats to them for the recent award! I can... also appreciate the brochette buns they use for the brisket sandwich. Cons: it would have been nice to have the bun warmed. Itwas cold bringing down the temp of the meat. I also wish they offered some sort of sauce for the sandwich (bbq perhaps) insteadof just bun and meat. The baked beans were a bit too sweet for me. But I will try them out again to see about the rib tips. Read more
The place smelt amazing from the parking lot! Greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The menu is simple, but has all the good... stuff. Ribs, brisket & rib tips were amazing, great smoke flavor and very tender. The spoon cornbread was fantastic, sweet &good texture. Highly recommend this spot! Read more
Great little place tucked away next to DQ ? stopped for lunch, the owner is super friendly with a big smile. I had the brisket... with a side of Mac and cheese, and spoon bread (aka corn bread) this is a down south recipe you have to try when you stop inthis spoon bread it?s amazing. Read more
