This is our family's favorite spots. Our kids adore Teddy and John. It is definitely one of those neighborhood restaurants where... the owners take time to get to know their patrons. Food wise, we love the salsa bar, fajitas, poblano burrito, and our kids lovegetting carne asada and fries. Fingers crossed they bring back breakfast someday. Read more

My children and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. Our waitress was so kind, the food was delicious, and the salsa bar was a hit... as most all Southern California Taco Shops have them and I missed that option so much. We will for sure be back! Read more

Family owned and operated. Perfect mexican comfort food. Absolute best carnitas in town, yummy tortilla soup, and the shrimp... tacos are wonderful. They have an extensive salsa bar and the California fresh margarita is the best! Service is fast andfriendly. Can you tell I'm a regular? Read more

Came back to Papa's for the first time since the pandemic. The food was below average but the service was good. Probably... because we got lots of attention from staff as we were only one of three tables there for lunch. The best part of my meal wasthe chicken enchilada and it was average at best. The beans were okay, rice was meh and the beef taco was terrible. I'm notexaggerating when I tell you it was the worst ground beef I've ever had. It tasted like it was from a generic can. The bottom ofthe taco was soggy and fell apart when I first picked it up from my plate. I wish I could go back in time and pick a differentrestaraunt. There were four of us and the bill came to $78 and none of us ordered alcohol. Next time I'll stop in taco time nextdoor and save myself about $50. Read more

Papas is a gem of Lake Stevens. My wife and I?s favorite place to stop for Mexican fair. Highly recommend the fajitas of any... variety, the skillet comes hot and you can smell it coming. The service is impeccable even during busy hours, so I never find mydrink dry. Speaking of drinks, try their massive margarita or a huge Dos Equis. You won?t even need a refill. It?s great. I specifically asked for a shredded chicken chimichanga. I got a "grilled" chicken burrito. The "grilled" chicken tasted and... looked similar to Tyson chicken strips you buy at the grocery store... no way was it fresh cooked. It was fake/processed. As amatter of fact, with the green peppers and onions added in my burrito, I would compare it more to a "chicken" fajita burritothan a shredded chicken chimi. I paid $35 for 1 burrito and 1 chimi (which was sadly made as a burrito). We were supposed tohave rice as a side, but neither dinners did (we had our orders to go). Make your own opinion, but I will never eat here againas they don't have any attention to detail and never get it right. (My husband has yet to try his steak burrito... he probablygot a chimi, ha) Read more

We just discovered Papas does breakfast! So excited. We had mimosas and breakfast. Their lunch is pretty good and so we tried... their breakfast and we left very happy customers. They have a great self service salsa bar that has 5 different salsas in it.Their breakfast menu is pretty big and has a great variety of items. We plan on coming back with more friends next time. Wefound our new half-way point for our ladies network group. Thank you papas for the great experience today. Read more
