This place is in a gorgeous area and the people that work there are just as gorgeous inside and out. This review is long-overdue... and I hate to make it lengthy but I need to mention that the scenery inside and out this restaurant is beautiful and the staffgo out of their way to accommodate you. I must also mention one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life was an employeethere named Brandon White. I’m not sure if he’s in management or if he’s just a member of the wait staff, but I watchedhim wait on his own tables while helping a new member out and unbeknownst to me I left my credit card there. I had left therestaurant that beautiful October day and drove almost 2 hours away to Hendersonville, NC before I realized it was gone. Icalled the restaurant who had kept it safe and Brandon left work that second and drove my card to me!!!! I was traveling aloneand had no other card I in my wallet and the hotel in Hendersonville would not allow me to check in without it. It was gettingdark and I was in tears, thinking that I was going to have to drive 2 hours back, and then another 2 hours to the hotel a 2ndtime. I was Exhausted and this man was a lifesaver. I am from Florida and do not know the area well. I was astonished by hiskindness, and generosity in doing so. The food was very good as well. I recommend this place to anyone. The servers were very friendly and we were well taken care of. It is a busy place and parking was a little difficult. They... have fresh catch of the day, Chateaubriand, but also have pizza and burgers so you can eat whatever you like. The food isexcellent. The restaurant itself is very fun and suits the mountain/lake vibe. I would definitely go back. It's also one ofthe few places open in the area on Sunday and Monday. Read more

Date : Oct 7, 2022. We unknowingly took a wrong road and when we were about make a u turn we found this place. Wrongly entered... to that road and ended up into a gem of a restaurant. We ordered blackened chicken with fries which was heavenly delicious. Thestaffs were very kind and polite. It was a beautiful day with scenic view of lake toxaway from the patio & parking. Avoidingchain restaurants & Having food in local restaurants especially in trips is worth a try once again. I strongly recommend peopleroaming around lake toxaway, NC must try this restaurant. Happy Hour visit. Prices? Waitress did not give info. First time here . No service at table. $16 for a appetizer size pizza.... 4:30 P.M. and could only order off front of the menu because the cooks needed a break. That is what we were told. View of thelake though! ???? Read more

A must try. Great food and even better atmosphere. The inside reminds you of an old lodge with very interesting memorabilia of... early Lake Toxaway. Great selection of draft beers and Wie list. We will be back. Read more
