The restaurant is open to the public. The view is spectacular! The service is very good and the restaurant is very clean. For... breakfast and lunch we were able to get delicious vegan options. I always look forward to going there. Read more

We had dinner at the Inn. You can dine inside or outside. The view is beautiful. It is right on the lake and adjacent to the... country club in the estates community. It is a good 15 minutes off the main road and all the way in the back of the community. It is dark and there are no street lights. They seem short staffed. Our server was friendly and polite, but not veryefficient. It took about 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We ordered the pork chop and our server didn't bringa knife to cut it. I finally got his attention after 10 minutes to ask for a steak knife. We never had our water glassesrefilled and were only given a half glass to start. We got 2 pieces of bread for the 2 of us and it was very hard. They had anice selection of wines. I was not impressed for the amount of money it cost. I expected much better service and quality. Mysalad had something in it that was hard and tasted like dirt. I am not sure if it was something with the lettuce or sunflowerseeds. The restaurant and view are very pretty, but you can find better food and service elsewhere. Read more

What an incredible venue! We did not stay at the Inn but attended a rehearsal dinner here the night before a wedding. The room... was gorgeous and had amazing views looking out onto Lake Toxaway. The staff was friendly and provided great service. I recommendgetting an Old Fashioned since mine was one of the best I’ve had. Overall perfect night. Read more

Service was great. Everyone is accommodating and friendly. We stayed in The Cooper Room in Hillmont. Very large room with... beautiful view of the lake. We played pickleball and tennis all weekend (except when raining). Keurig machines and dailybottled water replacements for coffee. Our shower door was missing weatherstripping but they fixed it within 30 mins ofreporting. Minor things: consumables are provided in hard-to-use, single-use containers. Tubes or wall mounted dispenserswould be preferable. Outside alcohol is prohibited and drinks are very expensive, but then so is just abouteverything. Beautiful place though. Worth the trip Read more

We took my mom here to remember what would have been my parents 61st wedding anniversary. The steak and salmon was delicious... along with the shrimp and grits (We did not expect the tomato sauce with it. One of us is allergic to tomatos) tomatoes. Crystal our server was amazing and Brandy, the bar tender was good to see. We met Brandy as our server at another localrestaurant which has since closed. The Greystone Inn's ambiance, attention to detail and impeccable service was top notch. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! Read more

I never write reviews (really) but this is deserving. We were so excited to visit a few weeks ago and even met a couple on our... travels who said they wanted to spend their anniversary at The Greystone. “Must be a fantastic place,” we thought toourselves. But alas, we caught COVID. I called the day we were scheduled to arrive with the news and I couldn’t have asked forbetter treatment. They said they were sorry our trip was interrupted and then didn’t charge us a penny. I follow them onInstagram and truly can’t wait to finally visit this beautiful place and share my appreciation for their kindness andgenerosity in person. Thank you Greystone. Read more

My husband and I had our wedding at The Greystone Inn and it was absolutely perfect. We rented out the entire Inn and our... friends and family could not say enough nice things about the venue, staff and food. David, the event manager at Greystone, wentabove and beyond to make sure the day was perfect and put my Type A mind at ease. He helped coordinate with local vendors andwhen our outdoor wedding had to be moved inside last minute due to 20 degree weather with 40+ MPH wind gusts, he and the staffpulled it together seemlessly. We couldn't be more pleased with how the weekend festivities went and are forever grateful tothis amazing place for the wonderful memories. Even if you aren't hosting your wedding here, Greystone is a wonderful place tovisit. The scenery cannot be beat and staying here is like being in your own home, but elevated. The food is delicious and thebar makes a fabulous Old Fashioned. Ultimately, it's the staff that make this Inn one of the best. They will go to the ends ofthe Earth and back to make you feel welcome and at home. We will plan to go back as often as we can. Read more

We stayed at the Greystone after New Years, so it was relatively quiet on the grounds. Every staff member we encountered was so... friendly and accommodating! The room was absolutely beautiful and we loved waking up to the views of the lake each morning. Thein room fireplace was wonderful for ambiance and keeping warm. We didn’t realize just how secluded the inn was (from grocerystores/other restaurants), but the food options on site satisfied us! We did travel to the neighboring towns for lunch anddinner a few days of our stay, just to get a variety in options. Overall, we loved our stay and don’t have any complaintsabout the hotel/staff. We would love to stay again during the summer and use some more of the amenities! Highly recommend for aromantic getaway! You can’t beat the views. Read more
