If you are in the Lake Villa area and looking for delicious food, 3 Amigos is your place. Inside and outside seating available.... The staff was incredibly nice but let me tell you about the food. WOW! Amazing portions. In fact, I don't think I ever saw ataco filled that much. I got a steak, pork, grilled fish and shrimp. Flavors were out of this world. The guacamole was amazingand the fundido on a flour tortilla was out of this world. You will not leave hungry but you will be thinking about the nexttime you are able to eat there. 5 stars only because I couldn't give any more. Read more
Haven't been here in quite sometime, was close by and wanted something quick to eat....I had a diet coke????and 2 steak tacos... ????....Bill came to $10.00 and some change. While the food was delicious ???? and the service was great.....They are way overpriced on 99% of their menu items....Which is pretty disappointing to see, I will not pay $20 us dollars for a Taco Salad or $13dollars for a steak/meat quesadilla...list goes on for the rest of their menu, I understand the cost of food is going up, but toover charge on most of their menu I don't understand!!!! Make sure if you go here, you understand the prices of what you aregetting, for me I know of other places I frequent will be less expensive for the same food items. Read more

FANTASTIC food and service!! This is the first place I have found in the area where the food reminds me of the food I had in... Cabo when I was there. The shrimp tacos are to die for, and I also had the Mom's Favorite Enchiladas with the ranchero sauce, ground beef. My boyfriend ordered the same thing except steak tacos and Carne asada Enchiladas with the green verde sauce. Wehad the guacamole for an appetizer, and we each ordered a raspberry and strawberry marguirita.... wow! ! SO SO good!!! We willbe back OFTEN. Read more
This is more americanized mexican food Almost like tex-mex. I ordered "Huevo Rancheros" and to be honest It was lacking sauce... but well presented. My kids did like the rice and beans though. I will be going there in the future to try other items. Read more
First time coming here, ordered 2 chicken, 4 tinga, and 2 pork tacos. The pork was good, a little on the dryer side but still... good (could have been an off day). The 4 tinga tacos were delicious. But the 2 chicken were the same as the tinga, I understandthat tinga is chicken but I was expecting the 2 options to be different since they were both written on the menu. Maybe it was asimple mistake, or maybe they are the same thing, idk either way they were good and no need to ding them because I still enjoyedit! Read more
