I ordered 3 shrimp cocktails and got what looks like shrimp salad or lettuce and shrimp. I had to ask for cocktail sauce and got... a look like I was crazy for asking and the cocktail sauce was expired so it ruined our shrimp. Our dinner was ruined. Read more
This place was recommended to us. When we arrived there was a wait. The large dining room was packed. Our waitress Madison was... great. Attentive and friendly. The oyster roast was phenomenally priced. Steamed perfectly. The amount you get with the fullorder is shockingly huge. The chowder and the oyster stew is a broth instead of stew. Our stuffed flounders was a filet withstuffing on top. Super dry. As well as the hush puppies. The appetizer sampler was decent not fries well done. This place is adecent for the area. You'll never go wrong with a location like this. Right on the lake with that old fish camp vibe right from the start. The... hushpuppies were perfect, mine, and the wife's sea food crispy and fresh. Their cocktail sauce was like none I've tried beforeand delicious. The included salad was extra nice and a great value. Probably never be back in the area and went there because oftheir reviews. I have family in this area and often times when I travel to visit them we will go to this restaurant. They are very... accommodating to large groups and the servers are very attentive. The restaurant is fairly clean considering how busy theyusually are lol. The only down side of course is really the parking. I know given the location it's not the worst but havingolder family members sometimes they struggle to park or walk to the doors when it's busy. I will definitely still return with myfamily though because this place is a tradition! Read more
