This place is like a family to lots of people. All the staff are so friendly and wonderful. Food is yummy, try their lamb... chops, Kabobs and the desserts. Owner Matt tries hard to find the best wines for a good price, you cannot beat their wine priceand the pour any where else. If you are in the area or live around, give it a try and you will love it. Food is not worth the price. Extremely bland and tasteless. Got veggies that seemed to be out of a steamed bag, and the chicken... in the chicken marsala also seemed to be mushy and from a bag along with the sauce. Here is the thing. If you are going to servethat then dont charge like $27.00 that is a rip off. Instead drop the price and maybe add some salt and pepper and dress up thefood so it isnt all wet and gross like it is from a hospital. Read more
This is a quiet dark restaurant. A good place for a date. They make generous drinks and good food. It's a limited menu but... something for everyone. The prices are good depending on what you think is expensive. There were 8 of us. We had many drinks andappetizers then a full meal and the bill was only $360. I don't think thats a lot. I have been here multiple times and have not got a medium steak yet. This burnt steak was it Only reason I go back is my wife... loves the salmon. After today I will not be going here again. Here is a pick of my medium steak. After 30 minutes of waitingthey asked if I wanted another. If this is a medium steak let my 15 year old be a cook. He can cook medium like this. For beinga premium restaurant in Lake Zurich they cook steaks like Fridays! It was October 28th around 5:30. ???????????? I have neverordered a well done steak. I specifically said Medium to Medium well, I want it as pink as possible with no blood. That is whatI said word for word. Instead of trying to put the blame back on me why not address the cook so you don?t have this issue again? Read more
