An aggravating experience. I ordered a salad which the description specifically says there are French fried onion rings on the... salad. Sometimes there is one thing that completely sells you on item you were considering, and that was that one item. I gethome and there are no onion rings. Just lettuce, cheese tomato red onion and a very small amount of chicken for 12 dollars. Icalled up there to explain I was missing the onion rings (again, the main reason I wanted the salad) for the woman on the otherend to tell me it doesn?t come with it?. Ma?am, it?s on the menu description. ? well we don?t and haven?t done that in a longtime.? She also proceeded to tell me the owner knows and there are multiple items on the menu that have things in thedescription that do not come with the actual meal?. I?m sorry, but it is unacceptable to pay and not get what you order with noexplanation that there are missing items? it?s also unacceptable to have a staff tell a customer basically that they are wrongeven though the description says differently. After the mild back and forth all I got was an ?we?re sorry ma?am,? And that?s it.I will not be returning after such a disappointing, wilted and lacking salad and the conversation between the staff. Good size food portions for your money. My brisket, smoked turkey and 3 nice size bones of ribs was nice and moist. The mac and... cheese as well as the fried corn on the cob was excellent. To top all of this off, the server's were outstanding. Willdefinitely be back. Read more
The ribs are to die for but the fried green tomatoes have way to much breading. You can?t taste the tomatoes

Great food and service!! My hubby and I went here and it was so good! Meat was so tender and had great flavor, portions were... good and the business stayed busy! Felt bad for the waitress, she was the only girl running everything from cleaning tables totaking orders, handling the phone and to go orders but she stayed on top of everything w a great attitude. She was verysweet. They also have variety of unique bbq sauces to choose from which we really liked! Overall everything was great!! We willdefinitely be back. Read more
Our first visit to the new digs. There was a pack house so we ate outside. Glad it was nice outside or it could have been... brutal. I gauge my BBQ on brisket. I got the dinner plate that consisted of some moist and meaty slices. Very tender andenough smokey flavor. My sides were the coleslaw and collards. Both really good. I would have preferred a bit of ham hock inthe collards. My wife got the pulled pork with fries. She really like both and said fries were really crispy. We got a sideof fried green tomatoes. A bit small as they were cut in half but tasty nonetheless. They had a variety of sauces to choosefrom. I had the Rump Roaster as it was their "hottest." Good but not hot. Read more
