What can you say, it's BBQ. HOWEVER it was tasty. It's the sides they served. Hugh portions of Cole slaw, a hugh side of baked... beans. Sides were almost soup bowl portions - outstanding . The pulled pork was very nice and the ribs were really tender. Yougo to the counter and place your order and get a drink cup. Server brings out your order. Interesting is the variety of bbqsauces at the table, 6 different types and from very mild to habaner ???? hot. Good restaurant + good food = return visit. Read more
The food was good even though it was cold. First time at this place and the experience was average nothing special about it. I... really liked how helpful the girl who took my order was; I might wrong but I think the girl who was serving tables didn't likeme by the way she was looking at me. The girl behind the counter who has worked there for years was very nice. The jalapeño poppers were yummy and hot while the dry... rub ribs were barely warm and not meaty. The restaurant could be kept a little cleaner. Priced too high for quality and food portions. Read more
When I say consistency... I MEAN CONSISTENCY! Out for a quick meal during a very busy lunch time in a geographical area totally... new to me, Lakeland Fla. After being out all day, now I have the hungry bugs. So I pull out my trusty Google and plug-in BBQnear me... BubbaQue's BBQ pops up. So I tap the directional icon to try out this particular location in Lakeland. I remembergoing to one of their other locations and it was awesome. Okay., I arrive here at BubbaQue's. I am ecstatic I stopped by totry'em. The customer service is awesome! Just like there other location I visited. The food! I tell you the succulent juicesfrom the perfectly cooked ribs delay my use of barbecue sauce on them. The melt-in-your-mouth chicken makes a grand statementwithin itself. This is only because I can?t do a no star! I never post reviews on any establishment however we walked in & walked back out. It... was a new spot we wanted to try too bad we didn?t get the opportunity to even taste the food. As we walked in there, it wasempty just three ladies that work there all on their phones! Just looked at us and back to their phones, no one acknowledged us!We sat down because we didn?t know how it worked to order and two girls walked off to the back still no one had spoke to us. Theremaining lady was carrying on the private phone call in the hallway. Worst service I?ve ever seen. Read more
