Well, friends. Another review. Let's talk about Charlie's Mini Donuts in Lakeland. One word. Devine. I'm a donuts guy. Donuts,... to me, are a science. To get the right consistency on the fry with a toasted outer layer crunch and a soft pillowy center is noteasy. The key is the temperature of the oil. These guys nailed the donut. My coworker brought in a variety pack...Omg. ricecrispy, Oreo, Boston creme, jelly, cocoa krispies, maple bacon, fruity pebbles, coconut. There are so many flavors. Let's talkabout two specific ones...First, the maple bacon. Shut the front door! The donut was perfect. The bacon had the rightconsistency, lil crispy but just right chew. The maple glaze, wow. You can taste the maple, right amount of powdered sugar.Fantastic donut. Second, the Oreo donut. It tastes like a Oreo. The creme was just like the vanilla center of the Oreo. Fromwhat I understand they use actual Oreo, pulsated to a dust. Absolutely unreal. I support all types of businesses but sweets area key to my heart. @ Charlie's Donuts, you need a location towards Tampa area. Friends, give this place a try. Wow, these donuts were incredible. We ordered a six pack. We tried the Samoa peanut butter jelly Oreo and snickers. The peanut... butter jelly and Samoa were the best. I would lick these donut holes clean any day. The donut itself was so good that I couldeat it plain without any of the toppings. In fact, I think I will order one that way next time. I also ordered a cup of coffee.The coffee came out hotter than any cup of coffee should ever be. I will be returning here to try the other flavors. Theinterior looked clean and well-kept. The prices were very cheap, I was surprised for the quality of donut. In total we paid alittle over six dollars for the coffee and six donuts. Read more

Perfect donuts! They have those crazy styles you see at voodoo and other trendy donut shops, but small enough to try them all.... Plus these are delicious! They reminded me of the fried donuts in a bag at a carnival warm and fluffy, without the oil or othernegative things. They added great ingredients for the toppings and flavors. Again, they are small so you can enjoy a greatvariety. This place should be on the food network and famous. Read more

I?ve had my eye on this place for some time now and have just been dying to go- and it did NOT disappoint! There are so many... options for donuts it?s almost kind of hard to choose because you want to try everything! They also have a lot of coffee choicesas well. The donuts were delicious too, they are as tasty as they are pretty! I especially enjoyed the pop rocks donut, such aunique flavor that I?d never think of making but it all works together nicely. There was not a donut I tried I did not like.It?s also really nice that what they offer are ?mini? donuts, so if you eat half a dozen of them it?s really only like eatingone regular size donut and you don?t have to feel as bad or sick if you over do it, lol. Amazing MINI donuts! Don't expect your "normal" donut shop, no. These are custom, freshly made, small donuts topped with a menu... of many options.
