Fred?s Market is a local Southern buffet chain located in locations in Central Florida. The decor of the restaurant is very... spacious, and is very new. The service was good. The food can go its ways. The biscuits are good and fluffy, the cheese eggsare nice, everything was good and affordable. Overall, would definitely recommend checking out. Read more

Country cooking at its best. Multiple generations have perfected the recipes, making the food with love. They have a one-trip... price that includes dessert. Great value, but if you need more food, it?s just a couple of dollars more to return as many timesas you want to. I love the hot peach cobbler with ice cream. Ice cream flavors include butter pecan, chocolate, orvanilla. Fred?s market has three locations. If you?re driving a semi or large truck, you can always park it in the back at theplant city market. Fred?s Market is a quick detour off of I-4. Read more

I've eaten here 3 times so far and plan to go again today. It really is the best food. The selection of great foods surprises me... each time. I wish they had a restaurant in Tennessee where I live. Yesterday I had mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, yellowrice, black beans, roasted pork, plantains, fried green tomatoes, corn casserole, a hot buttery roll, and finally some warmcaramel bread pudding with ice cream. I wanted to try everything but nobody could do that because there are way too manychoices. Try this for yourself and you won't be disappointed. Read more

Used to be great, now it's kinda ok. Food wasn't exactly hot or fresh. Gravy had a funny smell and tasted burnt. A couple next to... us said the same thing. Fried chicken was over cooked and dry. But the beef tips and white rice was great. So was the turkey andrice soup! Definitely couldn't complain about either of those. Read more

A buffet with a lot of options in ?down home? cookin. The food is decent and the space is big. I've tried a little bit of just... about everything here now and there are definitely a few really good dishes. Most could definitely use more flavor... mainly addhot sauce and it's on point. The price for my daughter and I was very reasonable but only because she's 12. Kids 12 and undereat free Monday-Thursday, so we got out at just under $20 +tip. Read more

Living an hour away, we don't get to come here often. Whenever we are remotely in the area though, we do make it a point to come... here and eat. A lot. Being from NC and growing up on country cooking, Fred's Market ALWAYS checks off the home cooking box forme. The pulled pork is on point, the fried chicken, tasty. Tonight they also had ribs, turkey and gravy, country fried steak andgravy, and they seem to always have crispy fried catfish. Like country veggies? They have PLENTY! They also have a salad bar,but who comes here for salad? Read more

It was fairly busy, I had a table for 6. Food was good. Ribs were excellent. Our Server Beverly did a great job. Only... complaint was for the dessert line. While it is a buffet style restaurant and you serve yourself, they had a server for thedessert line and that slowed it down greatly. There were 3 kids in our group and they went through the desert line when theyfinished their meals and each time it took 10 to 15 minutes to get through the long line. That extended our stay for over 20minutes. I also want to note that I sat underneath a vent and it was dripping drops of water on me. Read more

The waitress Micha was very sweet nice atmosphere. Food was good Southern style and even in old times pots. The dessert ???? ... section I thought would be better with like bread pudding and more variety but overall it was nice. I also thought the rockingchairs outside the front added great country charm.
