My husband and I took a chance and tried something new tonight since downtown was so busy and we are so glad we did. We only... waited a few minutes for a table on a Friday night, and got super fast service. Our waiter Jason was so nice and helpful andclearly loves the place because he seemed really passionate about the food and quality. We ended up getting Burrata, Strombolisand Tiramisu. Even if you didn't like Italian food I guarantee you would go back here just because the service was that amazing! They set the... standard, without a doubt! You can tell the owner not only loves what he does, but loves his staff because it shows in the waythe staff interacts with you. This was our second time going there, one time without the owner there and this time he was andboth times were phenomenal...so this shows me that his staff doesn't put on a show just because he is there. We felt like wewere a part of his family there. I got the basil tomato pizza and it was delicious! Palace pizza is truly grandeur pizza (and they’re called Palace so it’s fitting) because that absolutely can be a thing. I... know my way around this south location pretty darn well. I’ve dined in at Southside, I’ve ordered takeout and picked updozens of DoorDash orders to deliver, I’ve ordered from them off DoorDash myself, I’ve done curbside and probably any otheroption were there more. Safe to say, I’ve been there a few fair times. And it’s all seriousness when I say they have neveronce failed or even slightly disappointed me. Somehow, Palace Southside gets slammed with orders nearly every night, but theyfind a way to almost always keep on time. It’s mad impressive. I love ordering online there because I know that not only willthe food be delicious, but they will be right on time too. This pizza is just elevated, that’s the only way to describe. Youcan go get your cheap Little Caesars or Pizza Hut pizza, but when I want a slice I’m gonna get the GOOD GOOD, and that comesright from Palace pizza. Their crust is thick, they load the toppings and use fire-roasted ovens. Everything is hot, fresh, andabsolutely mouth-watering. Not only do they serve pizza, however. They have stromboli, calzones, pasta, and their famous breadknots (you gotta try those), and dessert to top it off. These guys are pros to the max. Another cool detail is that they servegluten-free crust for their pizzas if need be, as well as dairy-free ingredients. They’ve really got it all. The originalPalace Pizza location is in downtown Lakeland, but this is our beloved Palace store on the south side, and I’m so glad to haveit. Elevated pizza only! Read more

Stopped in with a large group (13+) following a xcountry meet. Staff was very accommodating for our group. Server did tremendous... job. Appetizers and meals were great. I had the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and would get it again in a heartbeat. Will be beback again next time we’re out that way. Read more
