Been to Chop Shop before and usually food is good. The Buffalo tenders are great. Decided to try a burger today. Bad idea. Bun... was kinda hard. The Blue Burger w/ Bacon wasn?t very tasty. The menu says $13.99 for the burger and onion rings, but thenthere?s an extra up charge on the onion rings in addition from what the menu says!? What?? Took about 15 mins to get the checkand no one was in the restaurant either around 2:30pm. $25+ (Including tip) for a burger, onion rings and a red solo cup ofCoke and that?s with the special. Bust! Let me start out by saying that there is a sign on the door asking people to be patient, since they are understaffed. There was... one person in the restaurant. She was both server, bartender, cashier, etc. So if you go expect service to be slow,. However,she was nice and our burgers and milkshakes were great. The atmosphere inside is great. Lots of old photos on the wall and themusic that was playing was 50s rock n roll. It was very pleasant and made the slow service easier to deal with,. The employees were very friendly and attentive to cleaning the restaurant. I asked about all the different signs and pictures... and was informed that it was a collection that built up over the years. You could actually spend an hour looking at all ofthem. And the food was delicious. I highly recommend. I had the Hawg and it was a double cheeseburger ???? that took me awhile to eat! Read more
It's a Thursday night at 6pm and the place was dead. Drinks are served in solo cups and tou get plastic forks with your meal,... which is ok, it just wasn't expected. We ordered the Fried Cheese. It was heavy in grease. We asked what was in the steakquesadilla and was told only steak and cheese. It arrived also with sautéed peppers and onions. It was a Philly steak andcheese quesadilla. Not much of descriptions were under each menu option. I had the Blue Suede burger. It was good. The bottom ofthe roll was soaked with a mix of grease and burger juice. The "Patty Melt" had a nice browned crust but only on one side. Thefries were great. A great crunch on the outside and very hot. Delicious! The Oreo milkshake was a good finish though. Looked forward to eating here! Unfortunately the service was a let down. The only time our waitress (Helena) saw us was to take... our order. We had to ask a different waitress for the bill. The salad was good (we both ordered the taco salad) The pretzel-stay far away from this item. It was overcooked/hard and the queso didn't taste good. Paid $3 for a coke zero in a red solo cupwith no refill. Read more
Bandito burger is amazing! Get the queso to dip your fries in. Classic burger is really good also.
My son and I had a wonderful time visiting this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the... building was clean. I loved the car, truck and gas station signs that covered the walls. I highly recommend! Read more
