Annie?s is a great place to stop in and have lunch. A cozy cottage atmosphere with charming service and great food. A must try... for those wanting a whimsical place to go to to get out of the sun or rain. Each room is unique in it?s own way and you feel asif you went to a friend?s house to eat. This was my fave restaurant that we tried in Lakeside. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is so cute and well done. Antique... items abound (like a tricycle in the garden) and a fun swing table that we were pretty sure we would fall off of. ???? First time here, and it will not be the last!!! Food and ambience both exceeded our expectations. This is such a cool place... under the outdoor umbrellas. Extremely friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere. I loved my prickly pear tea and grilled cheese dish.

Beutiful outdoor patio with freindly, helpful service. Very nice menu selections and the food was delicious.

If you have the chance to check the weather before visiting go ahead. If conditions are good If recommend eating outside among... the pines and open air. Even on a slightly chilly day, a hot soup and sandwich here will warm you up. You've got quality allover the place here with service and food. The servers are not shy about their recommendations which I really appreciate. Thefood from appetizers, entrees to dessert and drinks will make you want to visit more than once. Last visit I had a turkeypanini with a cup of white cheddar and poblano pepper soup with a prickly pear lemonade and I couldn't have been happier withit. Super cute café with lots of personality. Came for lunch with our big group and they were able to seat us at a large table... together. Staff was great. The only downfall is they should add a better vegetarian/vegan option to their menu. The look ofthis place seems like they would have more than just a salad without meat or a grilled cheese. Read more
