This was the worst place I have had lunch in 3 years. I got a grilled cheese. Hard to screw up. Cheese wasn?t melted and my... bread tasted like cardboard. It?s almost like I was served lunch at the local jail. The panini was just as bad. Also, asked forstrawberries and was given watermelon. Can?t believe I spent $20 here. Felt robbed. Real quality ingredients served in a cute cafe by friendly staff! We had the ham sandwich with gouda and apple and the caprese... sandwich, both were very good. We also enjoyed the smoothies. We ordered online and our food was ready at the promised time. Twosandwiches and two smoothies ran just under $24 dollars but the quality was very good and I don't mind paying a little more toeat food with real nutrients. A friend invited me to Lakeside--I had never been. We had lunch at Bluebird Cafe and WOW!! Delicious!! I had the Rockin' Robin... salad and added chicken. Was so yummy and yes, it was filling as well. I would definitely go back. Nice atmosphere, cleanfood and environment, friendly faces, kind service. Read more
The owners have made this little seasonal Lakeside deli absolutely delightful. Their all natural, organic menu isn't large, but... quite delicious. Their workers and owners aim to design your food to fit individual dietary needs. We had one member of ourfamily with a gluten intolerance and another with a milk allergy. Some people in my family like this place. The vegans and vegetarians can find something here. My granddaughter like the... sandwiches cut into shapes, crowns, hearts, etc. Personally, I think it is overpriced and I was underwhelmed by the food and theservice. It is kid friendly and there is inside and outside tables for dining. It's a small venue. You can sit beside the lakeand eat. Read more

I think I've gone here about 10 times when the store said it was open. 8 times it was closed, 1 time they weren't accepting... card, and 1 time I actually got food. I'm not sure where these places benefit from not having correct hours. Read more
