Looked like a really nice place with good food. No one acknowledged we were there, so we left after 15 minutes. Folks who came... in after us were waited on. Went back on 8-25. While out looking for a cool place to stop for a drink and a bite to eat, we happened upon the canoe club wine bar. It will... surprise you a little that it's in Essentially a strip mall but don't let that stop you from going in. It is decorated. Verycute, obviously with a type of canoe or cabin feel.. they had a wide variety of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The weekly foodspecials were all centered around peaches and so my wife and I shared some peach basil bruschetta. What a delightful place! Specializing in wines and a full menu. Two rooms, each with a bar plus tables is bigger inside than... it looks from the outside. It is an upscale place and the food is very good. They have pizza, but also a full menu. I had thesangria which had a variety of fruit in it. The third room is a local art gallery. Comfortable. Casual. Pleasantly themed environment with artsy surroundings. Nice selection of small plates, burgers, pizza,... salads and soups. Local wines featured. A nice added feature is an art gallery on-site with local artisan?s works displayed andfor sale. Items priced to sell. Quality pieces at very reasonable prices for casual decor. Gorgeous interior with incredible food. Definitely a hidden gem, it's a little off the beaten path but it more than makes up for... it with it's calm ambience and fantastic menu. Will try to come again! Read more
