This was our 1st time here and it wasn't bad. For starters we tried the beer cheese pretzel and also fried pepperoni. I was... surprised how good the pepperoni tasted it was almost like bacon with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.The pretzel came with 3differwnt dipping sauces and the honey mustard was to die for.. My daughter and I both got chicken wings with different flavorsand they were both on par. My wife got the beer cheeseburger and it was great as well. The fries would have been good if theywere hot but not bad. The food was better than the service but everyone is short handed right now. Wonderful views, very friendly staff. You MUST get the Carolina BBQ chicken sandwich! It's the best and I cannot say enough... about it! The nachos (we got the half order) were plenty for 3 of us to chow down on! The Philly steak tacos were just okaccording to hubs but he added some sauce and said they were better! We will be back! This place is very nice. Cool relaxed atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating. Waitress was on top of everything. Busy but not... crowded. Food was great. I get fish tacos everywhere we go and I have to say these were excellent. Highly recommend. Read more
This place I feel like was way better 5 years ago. It's still a really popular place and you can give it a try but I was not... impressed by anything they brought out. The waiter was really nice and on top of things. But every thing I had to eat felt andtasted cheap. I will give another shot in the future. But I'm not really gonna say I recommend this place.. maybe just for abeer if your looking for that kinda expensive also . Read more
The pretzel as a starter was fabulous. We had the fish and shrimp macaroni and cheese. It was amazing as well. Our server... suggested a cocktail that was a bit strong for me so she brought me juice to tone it down some. Read more
This will be my third visit to Cleats and to be truthful you need at least 2-3 visits to really get a feel for the place unless... your first visits sucks. At Cleats that didn't happen, they have been spot on. Our hostess perfect, atmosphere nice and comfyand the food, there was 4 of use and not one complaint which is unusual. Last visit we started off with the nacho tower and weactually gave half of it away so this time half of tower. Would and will visit again. Read more
We were excited about the vacation like atmosphere with the view of the marina and water. Unfortunately, we must have ordered... the wrong menu items. The Walleye sandwich and fries were over cooked. We upgraded the fish tacos to perch tacos and the perchwas also over cooked. We were quoted an upcharge of $8.00 to use Perch for the fish tacos. We do not recommend this upgrade. The service was slow and they were not very busy. The mixed drinks were good and they have tall draft beer options. The starsare for the drinks and atmosphere. Read more
