Very friendly staff. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. I thought the food was fine. I wasn't blow... away but it was very much what I expected from a little mom and pop country place. On the other hand, the carrot cake was by farthe best carrot cake I've ever had in my life. the food wasn't bad but just very chimpsey, they don't even serve you a salad or vegetables with dinner that and you don't even... get a dinner roll. This is the first time I have been served a dinner at a restaurant without a dinner roll or a vegetablewithout paying extra for it. We were a party of four The shrimp dinner was fine the two chicken fried steak dinners came outwith just a very small steak and small portion of mashed potatoes that was it no vegetable no salad or bread and the Cajunchicken pasta was cold at the bottom of the dish.
