This is hands down , 100% , the best sushi I have ever had. In fact, I can’t even visit some of the other sushi places closer... to me that I used to like because their rolls taste bland now compared to Sakura rolls. We’ve tried other things besides sushiand it’s always delicious. We come here for every birthday, anniversary, etc Their service is always wonderful and they aresoooo kid friendly. I love that they are always kind and pretty much genuinely happy to see my kiddos. Oh and their TempuraGreen Tea Ice Cream is my favorite food in the whole world. Read more
We tried today and we love it! We ordered bento ???? box and was super yummy, also we ordered Hawaiian sushi, mango sushi( just... a little little bit spicy), and rock shrimp ????… if you live close to lakeway you should come and try! Also they have happyhour 4pm-6pm except holidays Read more
The food was good, but that’s not why I gave this place 5 stars. I have been in the restaurant business for years, so I have... known many great food service workers. Our server last night at Sakura Sushi in Lakeway was one of the best servers I have everseen. Aaron did an amazing job, was polite, attentive, gave great food and drink suggestions, and had such a positivepersonality. I was on a first date and we hardly ate much because we talked the entire time. I am big on silent service as tonot interrupt a guests conversation. Aaron picked up plates, refilled drinks, dropped food & desserts off without sayinganything unless needed to. Hopefully Aaron finds a way into a fine dining restaurant with service skills like that! Quality ofservice can make or break a restaurant. This restaurant is very fortunate to have a server such as Aaron. They even let us stayand chat a while longer after close while they finished they’re closing work. Read more

We were very happy with our meal at Sakura. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful answering questions. We had the salmon... and sushi bento boxes and a “not spicy” orange chicken. They were more than willing to accommodate our son’s request. Andwhen i complimented the tempura dipping sauce, the waitress added a couple extra small to go containers to take with ourleftovers. Lots of great choices on the menu for all types of diet restrictions. Food is very good! This place fills up pretty quickly, so... I advise arriving before 6:30pm for dinner to get a table. Staff is very nice, great customer service. I will definitely be backagain. Thank you. ???? Read more
Great service, place is always packed, be prepared to wait to be seated and to get the food. Overall great experience.
