Overall experience was ok, it was over crowded, very small place, food is very good, price is bit high( most of the Indian... restaurants charge some what like this), one order is enough for 2 people, very friendly staff, tap beer is very famous in thisrestaurant, saw many people ordering. We are so happy that a Punjabi/Indian restaurant has finally opened up near this area. The food was wonderful, and the service... was fast. I would recommend that if your desi to get spicy not medium. Also the pakora were not the traditional pakora, theywere a lot bigger than usual. Read more

Zest opened only a couple days ago, we were there on Day 2 of service. So let?s divide this review into 3 parts: 1) Decor /... Ambience - Zest has done a great job with the interiors of the restaurant. Nicely thought through furniture, light fixturesetc. 2) Food - AWESOME! We really enjoyed everything we ordered. And we ordered way too many things to try out. Lakewaycertainly (and even Austin) needs a good Indian restaurant and Jasdeep (Zest?s owner) said ?You will not be disappointed?. Andwe weren?t disappointed. On the contrary, we were delighted!! So excited to have good Indian food close to home! 3) Service -This is where Zest has some learning to do. Not a big ding because they literally just opened and are obviously figuring thingsout (mind you, it?s a soft opening, so any little mistakes are ok). But service is an area that they should make sure they focuson. Right from seating, taking orders, knowing the menu etc, these are all areas that can make or break a restaurant. At first I never wanted to try this Indian restaurant because of the price range but after a coworker highly recommended it I... gave it a try. I got delivery and ohhhhh myyyyy!
