Food, service, everything was terrible. My first time there and I will NEVER go back. If you offered me a free meal I would not... go back there for it. So to start with the artichoke dip tasted like it was straight out of a can with stale chips. The saladsome type of Asian salad was not edible, so, so bad. The manager from the bar came over to talk/confront me was not so nice. HeyI'm not looking for a free, discounted, or complementary meal. Just want a good meal, service for what I'm paying for. It had been a while since I had lunch or even a meal out by myself. I had to wait for a table at 11:30. Obviously not because it... was packed but because of staffing. On a pretty slow Thursday afternoon it took way too long to get served. Looked like they had plenty of workers so I don't... understand the delay. Once we did get served the server was not attentive at all. She seemed as if she couldn't bebothered. The food was good. We had a Spicy Honey Bee Focaccia ( without ham ) which was delicious. This rating is as much for the excellent service that I always receive here from Vanessa, she's the best! She’s been at this... location since it first opened, and she is very friendly and helpful—and is very good about remembering small details aboutreturning customers. Very nice touch! Apart from the awesome service, the food is also very good and tasty too! CPK has agenerous rewards system for those that join the program, which is free. Came here for a delicious Mediterranean salad and spinach pasta…as I’ve said before never disappointed when I come visit... I got the call that our table was ready within 15 min even though it was estimated a 30-45 wait. Our server (couldn't find a... name tag) was great. I think they are offering a limited menu due to COVID so everything fit on a disposable place mat front andback. I'm giving CPK 4 stars for service and their cleanliness. That being said, the Szechwan chicken dumplings was definitelylacking in szechwanness and I'd liken them more towards dumplings. Also, the Dakota smashed pea+barley soup was lacking in theflavor department, yet had another....off taste. Not that it tasted foul, just something about it didn't sit well on my tastebuds even though it's marked as a popular dish. Their Sedona Tortilla soup was great and made up for the pea soup completely.Since I had gotten the "two in a bowl" with the 2 aforementioned soups our server was kind enough to pack a Togo bag with theother half of the soup serving I would have had with the tortilla soup + extra bread.
