We've had pretty good luck at this location. Wait isn't too long, we have a good time, service is nice! We've only had one bad... experience where the waiter got visibly frustrated when he brought this check before the got our dessert, but it was a busy dayso I assume he was just overwhelmed. the service was excellent- they were so busy & shortstaffed but our server was wonderful, patient & professional. for that she... rec'd an extra tip. the food was good, a small mistake was corrected with ease. my only prob was the place felt dirty, like agood scrubbing & cleanse would go a long way. This is the first time visiting this Chilli's Grill & Bar, located on Candlewood Ave, Lakewood, CA. It was a fairly very good... experience. At least they didn't drown my Quesadilla Explosion Salad with the dressing. The salad was very good. Just couldn'teat it all. The waiter acted stingy with the drink I had. I had asked for some more of the Mango lemonade. So later I asked fora to go cup. He brought back this large cup and I didn't have half my drink left. It would of been nice if he would of filledthat cup up with the lemon, you would of thought. I gave him a fifteen dollar tip anyway. Read more
There were bugs all over the table we were sat at, we moved tables and told the server the issue. Instead of cleaning the table... and making sure no bugs were crawling in the area they just sat the next guests. Cutlery was very dirty, and food still stuck onthem. Could not get a refill on water until after the whole meal was delivered and finished. Front of house is too understaffedto be able to assist their customers more than just taking orders. Read more
First Chili?s I have ever been to where the food did not taste great. For some odd reason the fully loaded mashed potatoes... tasted odd, like maybe they used an old potato or something. The corn on the cob had no seasoning. The chicken enchilada souphad stale tortilla chips. Bathrooms did not look so clean. The salmon tasted good and the waiter did a good job. Friendly staff and good, fresh, hot food. I also like the location and that it wasn?t too crowded. ----update 12/2021: There is... a longer wait due to staff shortages. Our server was helpful and friendly and the food was just "ok", with a few shortages onthe menu. The Cajun pasta was still pretty good but the buns on the mini burgers were a bit hard. The spoons for the dessertwere dirty-something our waiter fixed right away with disposable utensils. All in all it was ok & you can tell they are tryingtheir best with all the current limitations. Busy restaurant on a Saturday night. I like sitting at the bar tables. It's always packed there and they have 4 big TVs going.... Came here after a long day of running errands and didn't want to cook at home. Food is good. Drinks were good but the glasswarewas inconsistent. I had a cosmopolitan and 2 of their margaritas that should've been served in those larger martini glasses likein the picture on the menu. The bartender did let me know that they were all in use so my first 2 drinks were served indifferent glass sizes. I finally got the right glass on the 3rd drink! Yay! Read more
