The pizza crust is excellent but it goes downhill from there. Starting with the server asking me if I wanted something... unintelligible on it while gesturing to indeterminate sauces...repeatedly. I finally picked up "olive oil" (the alternativeswere...butter??) and was able to move on. A couple of the toppings sitting out in the open air were well past their prime, goatcheese and salami, though still edible. For a less-frequented store like this, setting out smaller ingredient piles would beintelligent. After I paid, I was never able to get the attention of the two workers again, who mostly hung out in the backstorage area. Fortunately, I found the red pepper and to-go boxes and helped myself. I mean what the actual F. When did a personal pizza become $11.25 plus toppings? Outrageously over priced for what your getting.... Produce toppings are low quality. Meats are above temperature for sure. 2 pizza were almost $30? Pizza hut i can 2-3 toppingpizzas, bread sticks, and sauce for under that. Crazy how things change.... C-Ya! Read more
Genuinely feel this is primo pizza when you byo. Great staff, so I've never had a problem with them not prepping a pizza timely... for take out either. The tables are sticky but hey, that's how sanitzer affects tables. When I want pizza, ever, I go here. Notdominos, not pizza hut, not roundtable, not strawhat, not roundone, not dave and busters, I go here. Yes, it's thin by default.Yes, Downey Pizza Co is delicious...but it's also far, so why worry ir waste the gas when I have honorable delicious pizza nextdoor. Save gas, don't have to wade around a large crowd, and I can ask for what I want according to what is visibly available. Read more
I just left the Lakewood location I am unhappy with the quality of service we recieved. I was waiting about 35 min to get my... good. After my food was order they didn't take payment or ask for names. So as the pizzas were coming out they were just left onthe counter to get cold. Several of customer had to walk up and ask where was there order and if it was done to find out it wassitting on the counter not in a box just getting cold. They just kept coming back and forth as the finally put the pizza inboxes to ask each customers if it was there. My pizza was handle by 3 different ppl I had to tell them which ones were mine andthey threw it in the warmer till they figure it all out no I'm sorry they just gave them to me they were not even hot. They werecold I just left after a 40 min please go to another location if you can. Read more
Love this place, was my first time and the people here are friendly, helpful and patient. They have vegan cheese and vegan meat... and gluten crust as well. It's about $9.95 for a personal pizza with unlimited toppings the drinks are $2.99 and the cookies andbrownies are yummy as well. Will definitely recommend and go again ?? Read more
They're really fast and friendly and great at multitasking. I really admire how clean the restaurant was as well as the... bathroom! I had the PieRise crust and it is my all time favorite! And I had an awesome Hershey cookie. Read more
My first experience was fabulous but my second was horrendous. The staff were very stingy with the toppings, when u asked for... more (to equal what is usually put on a normal pizza) they made me and others in line feel like we were an inconvenience. Needless to say my pizza was so bad I couldn't eat it. If I wanted a pizza with hardly anything on it, only crust I'd go to agrocery store and buy one off the shelf. I have pictures to prove this. It was bad. When I asked to speak with the mgr I wastold he was on break and couldn't be disturbed unless it was important. I relayed it was for a Complaint and they still refused.I then asked for the assistant mgr and was old they don't have one. I then said oh well I guess I'll be calling corporate thenand the girl said go ahead they don't care.
