Chicago meets Denver meets Cheers. The staff knows all the regulars and greets them by name with handshakes and hugs. More beers... than one can imagine and Chicago style ???? done right. Loud atmosphere in the bar area but there's a quiet dinning area as wellas outdoor seating. Quick bar service, reasonable wait for a deep dish pizza that's flawless. Had to downgrade to 1 star. Place is going downhill. Went to the bar, didn't even see an employee for the first 5 minutes;... received a beer 10 min after that. Place was dirty and the pint was a sloppy poor. Based on her interactions with other guests, I'm sure she has no idea what she's doing. I understand the world is short staffed but they seem to be leaning on that asopposed to working through it. The beer selection is good; if it's still in stock. Food was decent. Desperately trying to closeout as I write this. Hope it gets better soon. Management: Do better. Read more

Chicago pizza like it was meant to be made. They do not skimp on the toppings, there is no place like it. OH! It was Heaven!

I will never eat here ever again after this experience. Gritty menus to start and then continued downhill. The menus were so bad... that we used wet ones after touching them before eating. Burnt jalapeño pretzel bites. Waitress not paying attention to ourempty drinks. Kitchen staff had to tell her I needed another margarita. Pizza had way too much cheese and very little sauce. Andfor desert we were given what looked like a trash can cookie! Ordered the big cookie/ 9 inch. Came out too soon in a suspiciouslooking greasy dirty box. I was 1st curious about the temperature because it came out too soon. Touched the bottom of the boxand it wasn't even warm. Opened the box and it appeared like maybe 2 little cookies were placed together to form a big cookie?Or the cookie got shuffled around so some slices had separated? Upon further examination the cookie had broccoli bits on it, myhusband noticed a carrot shaving, and then I noticed pizza sauce on the outside of the box. I feel like we just ate at therestaurant in the movie "Waiting". A hilarious movie with Ryan Reynolds but I digress.... What did we do to deserve this kind ofservice?? ???? Left the cookie on the table; another worker noticed and told us but we said no thank you. Throwing the leftoverpizza in the trash in fear that they may have done something to the rest of our food. Ordered 90 bucks of food for pickup; a meat pizza, turkey BLT with a garden salad instead of fries, short wings with apple spice... rub, and pretzel rolls. The Turkey BLT was very dry and they use pressed turkey slices. My garden salad was nowhere to befound since the sandwich came with fries. However the balsamic vinaigrette I selected for my salad was included in the pizzabox. The wings were nice and crispy, however I picked up one to dip and when turned over there was also a crispy feather aboutan inch long, stuck to the piece. See picture, so gross!!! Topping it all off we ordered a growler of beer. At pickup theserver did not have it as part of our order. When my husband inquired, she said "what's a growler?" Awesome experience! Came here after working 12 hours at my own restaurant and I can't thank Old Chicago enough for the genuine... hospitality. I’m a raving fan of this restaurant. Got a pepperoni pizza (divine) as well as boneless wings (also amazing).
