Simple restaurant with a fairly standard menu selection but they do it very well. Fried crab wantons are well filled and nicely... fried. Fried wings have a light fish sauce flavor and sweet chilly dipping sauce. The combination rice dish was great! I've been here so many times! It's a great place for Pho! My personal favorite is their Vietnam coffees! I work nearby and we... order coffees once or twice per week for the staff. I've only been during lunch time and they can be packed if the weather iscooler, so plan ahead. Parking is simple and there are plenty of close spots, wheelchair accessible. They double as the Cajunplace next door as well. Read more
This is my GO TO restaurant when I want Vietnamese comfort food. (My friends are also fans of the Cajun food at this restaurant.... ) The quality of the food is consistently great, portions too. Service is always prompt and courteous. The restaurant is cleanand well maintained. the music is cheerful and upbeat and never too loud to have a quiet conversation while you dine. This is one of my husband's favorite places to stop in for a quick Banh mi for lunch but tonight we tried dining in for dinner... and were totally blown away. Guys: the food and the service were incredible! Stopped by this gem during a recent Lakewood visit and was so pleased to find... gluten-free Pho (it's typically GF but I always like to ask and appreciate when the servers are confident in understanding GFfood items). I had the loaded (my term) brisket pho with tripe (yum!) and a half order of fried spring rolls (not on the menubut you can request a half order.) The server checked on my meal several times, kept my water filled, and the gentleman whocashed me out was so kind and friendly (all of them were!). It's clear this place is a popular local Saturday night spot. Iwould give this place 10 stars if I could for exceeding expectations in every way! Read more
I think I have officially found the best pho! I used to have a regular spot until I came here last week! The broth is so bold in... flavor! Their egg roll vermicelli bowl was really fresh and delicious too! Although the broth appears to be a bit greasy, thebroth is very light and doesn?t have any greasy film.
