We stopped up for a celebratory drink and enjoy the beautiful view of the city. Not planning to sit for a meal we didn't expect... great service. Boy we made a mistake, in the lounge area we were treated to attentive servers and staff, accommodating the 4 ofus to order drinks and sides as we decided, one at a time, a drink here, a side salad, a dessert there, all being brought outpromptly, professionally and tastefully. Amazing views and great service. As some one that has been to dozens of Landrys locations across the country and have stayed at... the Texas hotels religiously, attended many events at the golden nugget casinos I would say Edward our server was the mostprofessional and engaging employee I have ever dealt with. He definitely made the night with his attention to detail and the wayhe presented the company. 10/10 would recommend this location. Also the food and drinks were exceptional. Try the bacon!!! Pretty expensive for the quality. The sides aren’t Included with the meal but it’s okay. The food tasted good enough. What... lost stars was service. I felt so neglected eating there. Took forever to get a refill. We did not get checked on except foronce and had to ask for things that should have been brought upon sitting down. At the end, after asking for the check when wefinally got the servers attention, I paid the bill and signed the check. The server came after I had the bill for maybe oneminute and took the signed copy as if I wasn’t going to tip or something. I just think he rubbed me the wrong way from the getgo he was just inattentive and rude. Won’t go back because there are better steakhouses in the city. View was spectacularthough! Read more

Me and my fiance got engaged yesterday, and we decided to go to a steakhouse for dinner to celebrate. I made reservations for us... online the same day, and they got us a very nice seat on the patio immediately even though we showed up a bit early for ourreservation. The first thing we noticed was how spectacular the view is! You get a panoramic of downtown Denver and thesurrounding area. Our waitress was great as well, she was fast and attentive all night. She even took a few pictures of us withthe skyline in the background, and gave us each a glass of champagne on the house to celebrate! As for the most important part:the food. My fiance got the crab cake dinner and loved it. She also got a mojito that she really enjoyed. I got the bone-inribeye steak, and it was the best steak I've ever had in my life. We also split a slice of chocolate cake at the end of themeal. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you Simms Steakhouse for helping to make an already unforgettable day for useven more special. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion. Went to Simms for a happy hour date with my wife. As many have mentioned the view was really special and lovely. We sat on the... deck and had pretty good service. The happy hour food was nothing that wowed me but it was fairly tasty for the price. We triedeach option. The calamari was the best tasting of the options with some tasty sauce and well fried. The sliders were a bitunderwhelming to be honest. The drinks were fairly unique in flavor combinations but I find myself struggling to remember themspecifically. The jalapeño margarita was probably my favorite. We ended the night with a cheesecake which was probably the bestthing we ate. It was decadent and rich and capped the meal perfectly. I have a feeling the food might be better for a full mealservice. It was above average for happy hour but nothing spectacular. Read more
