Over priced, no prices on Menu. Enchiladas were $16 a tiny 10 oz margarita was $11.50. I would not have eaten here had I known... how much it was. Food was average at best, Margarita was below average. Scamming people without putting pricing on a menu. Icould?ve had a better meal for less elsewhere. Read more
The food was good, but the waitress asked me if I wanted my carnitas smothered and I reply back saying no and that I had wanted... the chili on the side, then asked what I wanted to drink and I had asked for ice tea then she asked if I wanted sweetened orunsweetened I asked for sweetened and I was served with my carnitas smothered and unsweetened ice tea so I didn't ask her fornothing else because I knew I would only get the opposite of what I had wanted anyway, her tip wasn't what she could havereceived is how that all worked out in the end of the poor service that was given to me. The food is good here at Taco Unico. I had the steak enchiladas. My only complaint was that my waitress was a little busy on her... personal call to see if I needed anything else (like more soda? ???? ????). Maybe she was looking out for my health. ???? Itotally understand if you have to take a personal phone call but she was on that call for the entire 45mins I was at therestaurant. ????I would recommend this place and would eat here again, I just hope I have a better experience my next go round. Was very surprised to see so many negative reviews on this place lately. Not gonna lie, it 'allmoosst" deterred us from trying... them out, but we decided to give it a shot in the dark anyway. And I'm honestly glad we did~ I mean- the prices are a littlesteep (but in today's world, that's to be expected). Anyways... I made an order for pickup around 1pm on a Thursday. Walked into the restaurant being a little over half full with groups of people on their lunch breaks from Denver Health & local smallbusinesses. Noticed a few others who only stopped in to grab a few beers/drinks. The vibe & the atmosphere in & around there wasnice. The food was great. Me and my husband ordered carne asada fries. It was absolutely disgusting. We took one bite of the food and immediately almost... threw up. There's no prices on the menu. The waitress was aware of our situation and didn't offer a solution besides thereceipt. We paid for the whole meal to take one bite not offered something else or half off ticket. wouldn't recommend eatinghere. Literally just finished puking ???????? Read more
By far one of the best authentic restaurants I have been to. Everything I have had here has exceeded my expectations.... Chilaquiles with red salsa and steak !! Omg so good !! How this place has over even three stars is beyond me. The food is horrible. I never thought I would come across a taco I didn't... like until today. The meat was dry and cooked with no spices not even salt so it was tasteless. The tacos come with no salsas sobe sure to save some of your salsa when you first get it with chips. Bland bland bland tacos. Be sure to keep one hand free toswat the many flies that attempt to land on your plate. There are many other places near by with way better food. My father and I went to eat at taco único today around 12pm. We were greeted by a somewhat of a nice lady that kind of had an... attitude because we walked in. And that?s ok not everyday is a good day for the servers and we get that but it did make us feellike our business wasn?t wanted. My dad ordered the green chilaquiles and I ordered 3 asada and 2 pastor tacos. The greenchilaquiles were to to to spicy, they were to soggy and the sauce was to watery that it started pooling at the bottom of theplate. He couldn?t even enjoy them and left 3/4 of the plate full. His Coca Cola from the fountain tasted like water, sparklingwater at best. I love tacos but I could not bring myself to like these tacos one bit. The tortilla was slimy, the carne asadasteak was bland and tasted like dough for some reason and my coke was also like water. I say that if a restaurant can?t even getthe tacos right then I don?t expect the rest of the food to be good ??????????? The only thing I enjoyed today while patronizingtaco único was the salsa.
