Pleased with our visit. My son had fettuccine alfredo and I had small deep dish white pizza. His came with salad (which I ate).... We also ordered garlic bread sticks?.. We brought half the food back to the hotel so you could definitely say portions are large:-) I loved reading a little about the history on the menu (and then on Google)?? This was our first time here and it was AMAZING! We ordered potato skins, garlic parmesan wings, spinach salad with garlic... shrimp and a CYO pizza.... everything was delicious! Our server, Steph was great.. definitely a winner in Cleveland! Won't beour last visit Read more

This was the first time I have ordered pizza here and it was highly recommend by my sister... I got a gluten free pizza and two... pieces were ok but I then realized that the crust was impossible to chew because it was burnt. At least the toppings weredelicious or I'd give it a 1. We went to Angelo?s after reading that is was one of the best pizza places in Ohio and even the nation in one publication that I... saw online. With that expectation in mind, Angelo?s didn?t quite live up to all of the hype. The pizza was good but the saucedidn?t have much flavor in my opinion. The deep dish was kind of nostalgic for me in a way, because it tasted kind of like theway I remember pizza huts deep dish tasting like in the 90s. We tried the original crust margherita pizza and had a deep dishpepperoni pizza. We were looking forward to having their boscoe stick appetizer since that is a throwback to our childhoods aswell, but they were out of those when we went. We got the breadsticks instead which came with a cup of marinara sauce and a cupof butter sauce. The breadsticks were a little bit dry and just ok in terms of flavor. We will likely give Angelo?s anotherchance at sometime in the future, but as for now we will keep trying new places in Northeast Ohio/Cleveland. Read more
