We're never disappointed. The bartender recommended the Maker's smoke spicy Manhattan. Wow! The drink was aromatic with the... smokey notes welcoming you to the smoothness of the bourbon finishing up with the saltines. Perfect. Tonight I went with therecommendation of our server, Terri, a very knowledgeable veteran of Pier W; from appetizer to entree. She was spot on! Istarted with the clam chowder. It was hot, hardy, and delicious! Loaded with clams and vegetables. It had a creamy base thatwasn't too heavy. (Sometimes the lobster bisque is too rich for me) Dinner was the tuna, with grilled bok choy and clear noodlecake. Again, delicious. Compliments to the chef! Read more

Went to Pier W to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Made reservations, was greeted with Happy Anniversary. We where taken to... the table right away, and taken care by Kevin our server. Who was very knowledgeable and polite. Took his recommendation on thefried walleye fish. Amazing! Hubby and I both had sangria the white and red also order the fried calamari. Delicious. First timetrying creme brulee it was spectacular. Plus a complementary desert for our celebration. Will definitely be back to celebrateother events. Read more

We had a great experience here! My man & I ???? we were lucky to come at the time we did because they were fully booked with... reservations. We were able to sit at the bar & we had the pleasure of meeting Susie! She literally was one of the best serversI’ve EVER had in life . She was very informative, pleasant & full of surprises! I’m with child now & I didn’t order adrink but she just whipped me up something without asking & I loved it. It was delicious. She was very attentive with us & wenever had to ask for anything . She was wonderful! We ordered the Friend calamari!! DELICIOUS!! & it had one of these bestsauces I ever had . The sweet red tangy one. It came with two sauces . ( I forgot to take picture of it ) then my man orderedthe sword fish but ordered the sides that came with the cod. I ordered the salmon & added grilled shrimp & actually used thesauce for my salmon that came with the calamari. It went perfect . Then to top it off she brought us a raspberry red velvet cakethat had congratulations ???? on it . That was so sweet & thoughtful of her ???????? My wife and I don't have a big budget but we always stop here on special occasions. The views are spectacular and the food is... always excellent. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My wife really enjoyed her scallops and potatoes. I don'tdrink a lot of wine and the server was very patient and helpful when recommending the best wine with my meal. The desert was onpoint, the complimentary cake is always a pleasant surprise. My wife got a desert drink and I got an espresso and both were onpoint. My husband and I love seafood! I looked for seafood restaurants in Cleveland and Pier W was number one on every list. I made the... reservation for our anniversary. Something told me it would be good because there was only one reservation available and it wasfor 9:30pm. Usually we don't like to eat that late but I'm happy we did. When we arrived, we were greeted and wished a happyanniversary. The menu had happy anniversary on it as well. There were so many choices that we have decided Pier W would be worththe drive from Buffalo at anytime because the food was so good and we would like to try other entrees. We shared the soft shellcrab as an appetizer. I had the Atlantic cod and my husband had the swordfish. After dinner we were given a complimentary pieceof coconut caramel layered cake that was not on the menu but absolutely should be. When the bill came we were surprised again!We're used to spending at least $100 pp and the bill was only a little over $100. I can't forget the white sangria, we lovedthat too. If you have the choice to go to Pier W or go somewhere else, Pier W is the one and only choice! Read more
