Our server, Ona, was excellent. Kept bringing me more ice tea without having to ask for it. She was very friendly and her... service was outstanding. I had the prime rib Philly sandwich, very good. My has had the riblet platter also very good. Can'twait to go back to the Lakewood location for more good food and will be asking for Ona as our server. Today (feb7) went fordinner servuce and food still great. I had for the first time their whiskey bacon BBQ burger sooo good. UPDATE JUNDE12TH wentfor dinner, I had the quesadila burger and my husband had their bone in wings. Both of us liked our meal, we had to bring halfhome. Justin, our server, was friendly and checked back on us, will ask for him again. Oud other favorite server, Ona, doesn'twork at night. UPDATE OCT 1ST I had the fish and chips and my husband had the shrimp both were good, didn't like the fries, toodry. Our server checked on us several times, very good service. Read more
My husband got the ribs mashed potatoes and broccoli with the aisian chili Thai sauce I'm assuming the sauce wasn't hot or tangy... they were good. I got the bouban chicken and shrimp with a side of broccoli not my favorite that I have to order broccoli as aside now but that's ok. After eating the main entree I almost forgot about it. Also the Dracula daiquiri is delicious and only$6 ???? not sure how how it's going to be around they are frequent in the drink specials whenever we go there. We did the two for $20 deal and picked the chicken wings appetizer. They were like a freezer box style with a bunch of BBQ sauce... dumped over the top...not impressed. I got the Oriental Chicken Salad. This salad was a chopped cabbage mix and chicken withdressing. Still not sure what the giant side of dressing was about. I did use it to put an extra tablespoon on the salad, butnot likely to order again. Stephen liked the ribs he ordered and the steak fries were good. Came here for date night and had horrible service. My bf and I were waiting 20+ minutes for silverware and our food ended up... being cold by the time our food came. We waited several more minutes for our refills and already finished our food by the timewe had our drinks. The upside was that our loaded waffle fries were delicious and super good! Read more
Had a wonderful dinner... not busy, and for once in an Applebees the music wasnt deaf level loud! My meal was hot and very... tasty...cooked just right. Nice touch. Applebees has always been my go to place for dinner when i travel, just has what i like.:) "Grace' my waitress did a great job keeping me satisfied with drinks and such...and not over bearing as some can be. Veryhappy. Tried the Chocolate Melting after my meal...highly reccomend as it was super yummy... Added touch was when i asked if'Grace" could change the TV to the SUNS game...she did without hesitation... kudos to her! And they were ahead at halftime....go SUNS! This Applebee's was an ok place for dinner. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was nice. However the food was only... mediocre. If you want a good seasoned steak, probably best to try another restaurant. The salad/rice bowl was tasty, but hadsome unexpected Jalapeno's that overpowered the meal. Overall not impressed with the food, but the service and atmosphere makethe experience enjoyable. Read more
