Probably the best Texas style brisket in Washington (According to my husband from San Antonio,TX) food was very well prepared... and homemade down to the pickles! I had takeout. I should've checked my food before I took off. It was too far to drive back and get a refund. Was charged $11 for... a bowl of chili but I received a cup of chili not a bowl. A cup of chili should cost $4.50. The chili lacked flavor, tastedbland. The rest of the food wasn't great. The ribs were greasy, tough and too salty. They lacked smoke flavor. The brisket wasso-so. Lacked smoke flavor and tasted a day old. The sausage was lacking spice, heat and smoke. Sides were mediocre. Potatosalad and coleslaw were bland. been waiting FOREVER for this location to open and of course I had to go opening day. went just after 5pm and was able to get a... seat right away. even on opening day their food was AMAZING! and the man Jack himself was there! seems like a really cool dude!service was great food was great. highly recommend this place!! The brisket in my opinion lacked flavor, it was very dry no seasoning on the meat the other portion was hella fatty. The corn... bread was dry nothing special, the Mac n Cheese was alright, the fries was alright. The ranch I asked for had a slight bluecheese flavor for some reason, the ranch lacked seasoning as well. The service was amazing the atmosphere was great. I don'tknow I would come out of my way for this place. I will give it a few more tries and try other menu items though. Read more
