I am really disappointed in Panera. I have spent the last 2 days sick in bed because this store doesn't take allergies serious.... Yes. My allergy is an odd one, but that doesn't make it less serious when I ask for no bacon on my sandwich. I ordered mysandwich, the same one I have eaten for years without problems except this time, they put bacon on it. I brought it back to thecounter and informed the manager I'm allergic to bacon. She went back to 'remake' it. However, obviously thinking it was a joke,she and her sandwich maker decided that I'm really not that allergic. They removed the bacon and re served it to me. I've had 2days of vomiting, lethargy and stomach cramps you should only wish on your worst enemies. When I called them they only saidthey'd take it serious if I needed medical care. Glad that only a several thousand dollar hospital bill will make you fess up topoisoning someone. Thanks a lot for ruining one of my favorite places to eat and loosing me 2 days of pay. Read more
This Panera needs some help. I?ve always loved going to Panera but in particular the Gig Harbor location. This location has been... not up to par. They turn off in store pickup when they are not staffed appropriate which makes them loose business because noteveryone has time to dine in or wait for the food on lunch breaks. The last time I ordered they forgot several ingredients in mysalad. My co worker ordered a large size cream cheese they had given small. Every time it seems we send someone to pickup lunchthrough rapid pickup it?ll notify us it?s ready but it?s not actually there. It needs a little help, I hope they got a goodmanager in place. This location has gone down hill recently and I?ve decided to not go back. They are consistently out of stock on things, whether... it?s croutons or tomatoes or ham or anything in between. But most of all the customer service blows. I waited for 20 mins in a?rapid? pick up parking spot only to have to eventually go in and grab my to go order myself (which was of course just sittingthere waiting for someone to do their job). And then I get home to find this is the bread I get (see pic). One is a normal sizedpiece and the other looks like someone already ate half of it. Who puts a piece of bread like that in the bag and thinks, ?yeahthat?s an appropriate sized piece? ?? There are tons of fast food options at Lakewood Town Center, so I?ll be going otherplaces from now on. Read more
I used to frequent this Panera for years. The last six months, I have watched it go down. The restrooms were horrible. It looked... like someone poured food in the toilets and did not clean up the mess. The eating area was unkept and dirty. It was not thePanera of old. No one was interested in cleaning so I have to question the cleanliness behind the counter. I received my platewith soup and bread , with avocado smeared on it so.... definitely needs improvement. Stopped here to get a delicious frozen lemonade and it came out fast. The staff was very nice, especially the short young lady... with curly hair on the register. I even saw some familiar faces, which was cool and it brought back some memories. Read more
Super busy when we visited right smack dab in the middle of the lunch rush. Staff was very good at informing everyone about wait... times so expectations were set accordingly. Food was as quick as it could be and delicious. Loved their new drinks for thesummer. The Mango one was a hit for our family. Read more
So spent 40 bucks and when I got home the sandwiches were small. The smoothies were very small for the price ($6.00) .on good... side the soup was good just wish it wasn't just half a bowl. The staff were nice and it was clean but I won't be going thereagain was not worth it . Read more
Just a bad experience over all. The store was absolutely disgusting. I realize the area isn?t the best but having people walk in... just to ?use? in the bathroom is just horrible. My chicken sandwich was cold and inedible. The bread was soggy and really justgross. My wife?s salad looked like it had been sitting out for 3 days. I can?t believe they charged us $45. They forgot oursides. I would NOT recommend this location at all. Higher management need to close down for a while for retraining and figureout how to address these problems before continuing service. Someone might get hepatitis if it continues on like this.
