Such yummy food!! This is the best egg drop soup I have had in a long time. I really enjoyed the overall presentation of the... food given by our server. Beef with broccoli was delicious. If you're coming for the first time, the restaurant can be a bit hard to find. It's located in the corner of the shopping center... where the "L" shaped buildings meet. The outside signage is worn down, scratched and very hard to read, but don't let that foolyou. The inside is upscale and beautifully decorated. It is very clean, the seats are comfortable and the staff is veryfriendly. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted delicious. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the orangechicken plates for 1 adult and 2 kids. It was way more than enough food and we took two boxes home! The three of us chose to each get the dinner combination which gives you a choice of an appetizer, a soup, entree, and fried or... steamed rice. I can honestly say I have found my new local favorite Chinese restaurant. This restaurant is definitely one of thenicer in the Lakewood area. The atmosphere was relaxing and the decorations were very interesting and unique. My favorite dishis sesame chicken which was not one of the choices for entrees however the waitress said there was no problem selecting that asmy entree choice. The staff was polite and attentive. From the outside the restaurant seems like a whole different place,however once you step inside you will be surprised. I was excited to see they had a koi pond and off to the side there is asmall bar with a billiard table. We also got the appetizer sampler which arrived hot and perfectly cooked. My family had a greatsit down dinner. We will definitely be returning. I took some time to read some of the other reviews and was happily surprisedto see that the restaurant has been in service for over 30 years and has many excellent honest reviews, however I did noticeseveral of the low reviews are from customers that didn't even have their verified Google review stars. Also another consistentlow review point is from individuals that have chosen to order using a delivery service. Please keep in mind when using deliveryservices they do not have the individual experience for each customer as a top goal. They are focusing on getting as many ordersdelivered as possible, and a lot of times the food does not arrive to you in a timely manner, which people choose to blame therestaurant for. I do not believe that is fair because this restaurant in my opinion works very hard to get the food out to yourtable quickly and they are striving for excellent customer service. You cannot expect that when you are using a delivery servicethat focuses on mass delivery and speed. Read more
The service was great but the meals are mostly vegetables. However the quality of food is amazing. EVERYTHING IS SUPER... DELICIOUS, but especially the sweet and sour and garlic sauce meals. Read more
Visited today for lunch. We ordered orange chicken which was light and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Sauce had... fresh orange garnish and was very tasty. Our second dish was garlic shrimp. We were impressed at the amount of shrimp and it wascooked perfectly. So delicious with steamed rice. We will definitely visit again when in the area. Read more
First time trying thus restaurant. Chinese food in wahington is a lot different than the Chinese food we had Arizona where we... recently moved from. Personally I miss the food in arizona. The food here was different than we are use to but decent. Ourfavorite was the hot platter appetizers. My husband enjoyed his salt and pepper squid. I didn't like my chow fun. I am use toreal thin rice noodle and they use a very wide noodle. I have never ever had egg drop soup with potatoes, peas and celery. Read more
