The food was edible but nothing out of this world. I did like the cheesy broccoli soup. Chopped steak was a little overcooked. I... ordered a carrot cake and the icing was hard throughout. It could have been from recently being thawed out OR from just beingold. I ate it and it was not horrible. I like those little Nemo square carrot cakes better. Read more

Josie, one of the servers over at Country Pride restaurant was very nice and friendly. So was the other one working tonight. Did... their jobs well and was personable. Was the highlight of the restaurant by far. Cook needs to be managed better. Decided to belazy and use the microwave for every meal that I saw come out of there, including mine. Brought it up to Josie, which sheapologized about it. I was going to try to get through it but just couldn't do it. Meat was rubbery and tasted awful. The saucewas bad. And spaghetti had cold spots all through it. After my complaint I finally saw the cook start actually cooking thefood. So that's a plus. And they comped my entire meal. Read more
We visited this place while driving from glenn rickett state park to Indiana. A very convenient location with Shell Gas station... and good food. If you are in a hurry, this place might delay you further as the places seemed understaffed and service was slow.Have complains about the men?s room or the staff behavior though. The pancakes felt like homemade and all other food was reallynice. My vegetarian friend was happy with his scrambled vegetables as well. Read more
big portions fast service friendly waitress who understands just what you hope to order.. amazing cook. how many places get the... bacon just right? this one does. i especially enjoyed Ginny as our waitress as she brought sunshine with her smile to a drearylong travel day. thank you! a big shout out to Drew Deems manager who rounded up such good people to create a great place tovisit. Stopped here for lunch, 2 servers with about 6 guests and the service was slow, not at a snails pace, but slow enough not to get... around to each guest in a more timely manner. Read more
