Was told an hour in half wait time, Closer to 2 hours we find out our friends order was lost. My husbands food came 25 mins... after mine. Nobody could eat together. They have no number system , don't even take your name. Not only is this smart forstaying organized it also helps you monitor your staff. Nice little spot outside otherwise , but needs a better system.Absolutely no reason for a place to take 2 hours for a poutine. Definitely wasn't 28 cars in the drive way. Read more
This place is all about location and the food is pretty decent too for the island. This particular dish is my guilty pleasure -... it?s their Island Fries and it?s loaded with their queso sauce (i rarely ever eat cheese wiz but pretty sure this is it), realbacon, green onions, tomato, creama, etc and delicious crispy fries like the Costco ones. The rest of the menu looks great butdarn it - i keep getting these fries. Pro tip : Order ahead. Crossing this little boat ramp to the tiny island in front of therestaurant is a great place to munch your food and watch the seal activity. No garbage there so clean up after yourself. I oftenbring an extra bag as there?s sometimes litter there from other users and I like the leave it cleaner than I found it.Regardless, this place is great! Read more

After reading so many great things about the Ocean View Take-Out online we knew we had to check it out when we were on Deer... Island last week. We shared a Clam Platter and a large Fish & Chips. Both were delicious but the clams, omg ...sooo good!!! We were definitely not disappointed!!! ???? We ate our meal at one of the tables available on the deck from where we alsoenjoyed the beautiful view. Although we didn't try the Steak Sandwich we heard good things about it as well. Stumbled on this awesome takeout with ocean view outdoor seating. A real hidden gem! Some of the best fish and chips Ive had... since Bar Harbour Maine. Nice large portions also, well worth the trip to Deer Island. Read more
It's a take out window with an Ocean View Deck. Excellent food, Large portions, excellent kids menu. Best Burgers I've had. ... I have eaten there 5 times and every time I go there. Veer Left, like you are going to the docks, it's just past the docksaround the bend. Read more
