The only way I can describe our dinner at D'Floret is FLAWLESS. Seriously, there was not a misstep when it came to the food or... the service. We were celebrating our anniversary and were only able to get in at the earliest time...4:30. We almost passed infavor of a later reservation elsewhere, but MAN, am I glad we didn't! We would have missed this extraordinary experience. Wesat inside, and although there is a charming garden in back, our little table on the window was just the perfect cozy spot tosee the comings and goings, and the wonderful way the restaurant is run. Estella provides the exceptional service, her husbandDennis provides the outstanding food. We had the mushrooms ecrevisse in puff pastry and the crab tian for appetizers and therouget barbet and halibut for dinner. There is no way to describe how deliciously prepared they were so I won't even try. But the white chocolate Panna cotta with passion fruit gelee on top was, in my husband's words, "the best dessert I have everhad in my whole life." It was perfect. No mediocre restaurant with a cheesy "happy anniversary" written on the dessert platecould ever make us feel as special as this amazing place with amazing food. Thank you Estella and Dennis. Outstanding!! We have eaten (literally) all over the world and D’floret is in a class by itself in Lambertville/Bucks County! ... Estella makes the entire epicurean experience absolutely wonderful - so charming! In the kitchen Dennis is a master of hiscraft - the appetizers were exceptional, the rack of lamb was exquisite and the desert - my wife is still raving about! If youenjoy exquisite cuisine created with passion and enjoy d in an environment that exudes joy - dine here!!! If you are part ofthe “need to be seen selfie crowd” please eat somewhere else so that we can truly enjoy this exceptional restaurant inpeace!! Read more
June 2022 update - Second time here and once again, everything was excellent! Four of us enjoyed five appetizers, four entrees,... and three desserts ...all of which were perfectly prepared and wonderfully delicious. Also ate outside this time and the patiojust adds to the great meal and stellar service. April 2022 - My only regret in dining at D'Floret was being so distracted bythe great food, that I forgot to take photos! First time visiting was this past Friday. We had a 6:00 reservation and wereseated promptly upon arrival. (I'd definitely recommend reservations). Our two appetizers were Gnocchi and a Wild MushroomLobster tart - both excellent, best gnocchi I've ever had. And being indulgent, we also had a Foie Gras which was equally great.Our mains were a Seared Ahi Tuna, cooked to perfection, and Faro Island Salmon over Creamed Spinach which again, was cooked andseasoned perfectly. Promising ourselves we'd skip dessert proved futile and the Chocolate Royale on a bed of Hazelnut Pralinedisappeared in what had to be under a minute! Delicious! It truly is a remarkable experience. The chef has an excellent palate and we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is beautifully... decorated. The staff is friendly and attentive and helped to turn the meal into a memorable event. We agree that we definitelyhave to return. I would recommend it to our friends without hesitation... as long as they take us with them. Be advised thatthey only take cash or check and it is a BYOB. Read more
Rack of lamb was flawlessly cooked, seasoned. Dessert was to die for. Cash/BYOB Place is smaller than the photos.. be patient.
