Saw and article to try this place out. The only thing you want to try that is better than average is the maid-rite loose meat... sandwich. Mega rite is just extra meat. Try other combinations. My wife got the taco salad and it was only decent. Bonus starfor the Amish bakery and store. Read more

We finally stopped after years of seeing the signs and what a disappointing experience. The checkout girl was unhelpful and... rude. Only after we paid did we realize we had to order everything separately. The food tasted good except for a chickensandwich that was cold in the middle. The fish advertised online was available. And the prices begged for a bit more not justso-so. Tables were sticky. Just kind of sad it wasn't what we were expecting. Read more
If I wouldn't have asked if they had any sandwiches without meat I never would have known from the menu. It would be nice if... they would put it on the menu that they have a black bean burger! When I asked what kind they just said it was from Sysco. Itwasn't anything special but it was definitely good to find it at the time. More vegetarians might stop at this place that's beenaround for almost 100 years if they knew that that was an option! Read more
The prices are pretty outrageous. I tried to get a simple Maidrite and fries but sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes and still... was second in line (there were only 3 of us when I pulled up and ordered). I stop by here at least once a week. Friendly staff, delicious home cooked style food, and can spend an hour wandering around... the store. So much to see, so little time. Overall, two thumbs up in my book. I recommend the XL pulled pork sandwich. Read more
Awesome experience at this location. This was our first time trying Maid-rite, the loose burger thing sounded really fun. We got... the signature loose burger with onions, pickles and mustard. I liked it more than expected, the beef tasted good with thetoppings and everything about the burger just worked really well. The beef was the right amount of lean and not greasy. Woulddefinitely get it again if there were locations in Kansas City, Missouri. Their fried okra were awesome and cooked perfectly.The staff were really nice, and the service was prompt. Their pies are also very delicious! Didn?t get to try their giantcinnamon rolls but maybe next time. Read more
Nothing special. No healthy options like salads. Mostly fried or grilled stuff you can't mess up. Each time we've gone they're... out of something you particularly want. Nice folks and plenty of dine in space. Read more
