Having been to multiple Nobus, this was the most disappointing in terms of food quality. If you are staying at four seasons, I... would recommend One Forty more if you are simply looking for better food preparation and are not hung on Japanese cooking. Themenu was missing the wagyu gyoza and takumi wagyu slider as their chef who prepares that wasn't here for past few months (ifthat's the case, I recommend removing the dishes from the menu so as to not disappoint customers). We ordered the mushroom soup- which was basically mushrooms in hot water (try the one at One Forty instead, which is creamier and tastier) The sushi wasmixed - we liked the scallops, and the Uni but the Otoro tasted not fresh, and the fat content was more of a Chu-toro. The bestpart of the menu was the A5 miyazaki wagyu - that was more the ingredient than the chef skills so hard to rate the restaurant onthis. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience compared to the Nobu in Malibu, or any high end sushi restaurant or Japaneserestaurant in the Hawaiian islands. We decided to end our meal early and eat upstairs instead since there was nothing goodcoming out. Read more

We went to Nobu by recommendation of our hotel (Sensei). Upon arrival we were seated right in front of the server station, while... plenty of regular seating was open. The music was loud and obnoxious unless you find techno or trance appropriate dinnermelodies. The servers were largely inattentive apart from rude comments they made while at their station about others guests. The food itself was nothing to write home about. My wife’s meal came 12 minutes before mine, so dining together resulted in acold meal. The citrus sauce on her meal was so overpowering that the other flavors completely vanished. My steak was of poorquality (tough and overly fatty) so much for a tenderloin. In short we will not be returning nor recommending this overhyped andover priced location. Read more

Simply delicious. Everything we had for dinner was so good, every piece of fish cooked perfectly, but the signature black cod... miso takes the cake. I didn't need dessert after that ???? Read more

The views are of course incredible from this restaurant, but we were seated at two short sofas with two cocktail tables pushed... together (plenty of regular tables open). We were rushed because our reservation was for 9, but they said the kitchen wasclosing as we started to view the menu. Food was good but not worth the hype or price. Overall, a bit disappointedunfortunately. Read more

Wonderful delicious food; we had the omakase menu for $198 per person. Service was delightful and eating while the sunset was... magical! Read more

EVERYTHING on this menu is spectacular. The most incredible seafood, delicate and fresh. The tuna salad sashimi and squid pasta... is unreal. Squid pasta is delicately grilled squid, asparagus and squash, could no eat enough. Ambiance is perfect with anoverlook of the ocean and staff is very friendly. Read more

Five star for the flavors, service and ambiance! Less than five stars for the very small amount of tasty food and the very high... cost. Seems like they might have more repeat business if the cost equaled the quantity served. I would not be surprised to spendmany hundreds of dollars for two persons to actually feel satisfied. It’s too bad because the small ‘snacks’ areincredibly delicious! Make reservations, only open for dinner and bring a bank roll! Read more
