There is this place and another very similar place on Ave J, and this is definitely the one to visit. The other is on the corner... of Division but I would avoid it. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant. It is a place for dessert and snack. We ordered Agua Frescas with Strawberry... and an Oreo Milkshake. It was very sweet but, next time I will try a paleta. I also like the elotes which is corn on the cobwith cheese. Read more

I just left the Michoacana and I have to say that we just received by far the best costumer service by Bryan he has very patient... with us and really helpful with all of your questions and explaining everything since it was our first time there. The old staff was a lot nicer back before they converted the store. I actually liked coming here because the staff was always... talkative and upbeat. Had this mangonada with a kiwi fruit bar. Not sure the exact name of it but it was sooooooooooooo freaking tasty! It was well... priced for the medium size. Will stop by next time I?m in town. The service was pretty fast and the workers were prompt to alittle mess on the floor. Read more
