Plenty of soggy fish, should be the name. Ordered food for delivery, through DoorDash and was very disappointed. Spent over... $100, just to get soggy, fried fish and shrimps The Macaroni Salad was spoiled( my cousin got sick). Seems like the oil the fishwas fried in was well past needing to be changed. Yesterday was my very first and my last time coming to this establishment. I was wrong for thinking if I mentioned that I'm a... first timer, they would be sure to make my order correct, despite the negative reviews stating this same issue. The gentlemangreeted me and was very nice. Really personable. Now this is where things took a turn. I ordered a red snapper dinner with 2extra pieces of cat fish. I get home and realized I had 4 pieces of fish all red snapper.. I tried to call the store back about6 times and the line stayed busy., so I was forced to drive back and explained to Deon .my issue. I believe that was his name.Anyway he kept insisting that the catfish was included. I know what catfish tastes like. It has a distinct taste. Not only thatthe fish didn't seem like it was cooked in fresh grease and it was so bland I had to add salt at home. The fish overly hyped inmy opinion. Read more
One of the employees noticed I was given fried fish instead of the grilled fish I ordered and immediately put another one on the... grill for me at no charge. I told him yes, I was served the fried fish, but it was so tasty I was good. I was grateful to get tosample the excellent grilled fish as well. Recommend! Read more
This was the first time at this place. I looked up where to find good fry fish in lancaster because I was in the area. I chose... this place. The atmosphere was good. The young man at the cashier was nice and courteous but I unfortunately had to wait overan hour just for 3 pieces of fish. I requested collard greens and red beans and rice but he didn't take my order for whateverreason and then will tell me they ran out of red beans and rice. Something I had already paid for. I ended with 2 orders ofcollard greens. I didn't expect such a long wait or he just forgot about me period. It was a little frustrating and annoyingat the same time. He apologized which was nice but why take the phone number if you're not going to call when the food isready. It makes no sense ????. The food is overpriced. Only reason I say that is I?ve never, ever waited so long for you buy, we fry food. In Detroit you can... order a combo meal (buy here fry here) and your food be ready in 15mins. They are way too slow here. Maybe cause they are men inthe kitchen.. Read more
If I could rate this resturant with a zero I would. For what they charged, the fish tasted like it had been freezer burnt, not... fresh the cold slaw was awful no taste was not seasoned it suppose to be creamy it was dry. Spoke to the owner who argued wih me regarding that awful food and no apologies. I was told by the owner some women made the slaw at home and it was brought to hisrestaurant. I will never buy from this establishment again. And would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. Read more
