The music is a vibe ? very soothing. The atmosphere is energetic, lates back but friendly. Destiny greeted us at the door, sat... us down, was sooo helpful in our choices of food. Odd to serve tea without a teaspoon or sugar. Also odd to have a calendar in the bathroom set to next month. ? Otherwise, if not... in a hurry, the slow service will eventually bring good food. My husband ate the egg and cheese melt, so good ????. My egg tacoswere very spicy! The chai chocolate tea rocked, and I got a cute pig mug with a tiny teapot ????. Cute. It's small, crowded, and noisy. If you are looking for a light, casual vibe with awesome food brunch place. THIS IS NOT THE... ONE. Only tea is good. Both modern Margarita and watermelon infused are delicious. But food is just not worth the wait. Lowquality ham and salmon are used in our dishes. Even the cheese, veggie, Hawaii toast can't hide the bad taste from the meat. Salad is a bunch of spinach sprinkles with feta cheese and a really sour dressing that cause the bread soaked. I feel like agoat or cow when eating it... The servers are nice but probably need to prioritize what things they should do first. We waitfor over 30 mins for the table and painfully watching how inefficient the servers was. For example, a long line waiting butthree tables are empty for at least 5 mins because the servers are busy chatting with other tables and having a hard timeputting down napkins, utensils and the menu for the new table. Sorry, but I have NO IDEA what this places? secret ingredient is- EVERYTHING was 100% deliciously amazing. Every single... ingredient was top notch. From the strawberries in the chia pudding to the bacon/rice in the bowl I got. I asked for my egg overmedium and it was cooked to complete perfection. The spinach was abundant and not wilted at all. The staff was so sweet andnice, the atmosphere was cute and fun. I could go on and on, I will definitely be back! UPDATE: Went back a couple days ago andit was a completely different staff, however they were just as nice, sweet, and welcoming. The food was just as good (we lovedit so much we ordered the same thing) and we both agreed that this place is probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever hadeating out. Read more
Great place with great people always trying to do the best for you! People go there and spends great time talking with... friends. The food is delicious and healthy! Don?t forget to ask for the tea of course because they have a wide variety, Iasked for help and they brought me something very cool! If you are vegan they have an option for you. I?m often in the US andhere I had a different option for breakfast instead to have the traditional American breakfast and black coffee and it wasperfect for us!! French toast was very tasty, eat it! My new favorite vegan spot. (Non-vegan options available as well) Delicious drinks. It is a bit small but I had no problem... maneuvering the stroller and being out of the way. My daughter is a picky eater and she enjoyed her breakfast. I would doublecheck sodium intake if you have high blood pressure. Service was amazing. They also sell art. Overall great atmosphere. I've been coming to the modern tea room for 7 years, and they have consistently been amazing which is a hard thing to do. The... drinks and food both are top notch with flavors. Service does tend to be slower, but it is worth the wait. I promise you'llloves the food, drinks and people who run it. Read more
