We arrived a few minutes early and our table was not quite ready so we walked around the block..and when we came back it was... ready. Crab croquettes and grilled octopus were delicious. Unfortunately they ran out of carpaccio. We will just have to gettheir earlier next time, because there will be a next time! This was my first visit to this restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. I was warmly greeted by the host and my table... was ready and waiting per my appointment. The introduction to the restaurant was delightful with the waitress taking her timeto go through the menu selections. For starter, I had the crab croquettes. This was a good start to the dining experience. Iended up going with the recommendation of the Fish Du Jur. This dish was an overall good recommendation. Everything on theplate complimented each other. I was particularly a fan of the crispness of the fish skin. My entree was paired with a hotcitronnelle tea which was a perfect compliment. For dessert, I had the classic Souffle. It was well made, light and fluffy as aSouffle should be. Overall this was a great dining experience and I would definitely return in the future. Read more
Intimate setting that reminded us of a restaurant in Paris we dined at a few years ago. Excellent service. The seasonal menu... offered diverse choices. Appetizers were delicious. Both our meal selections were excellent. Several dessert options wereprepared on demand and had to be ordered with your entree. We did two of theses--carrot cake (pictured) and the chocolatesouffle. If you go I... highly recommend getting their carrot cake with blueberry sorbet for dessert it’s unlike any other carrot cake I’ve had.Everything we ordered was very good but the duck and carrot cake were my favorites. This place is fantastic. The food is creative, indulgent, and very well executed. The interior space is classy and intimate.... Kind of like Tom Ford’s movie, “A Single Man”-esque interior. We will definitely be back. Read more
