I have wanted to try this place for months and finally got around to it. This place is ridiculously good ! Tucked away in a... shopping center on Queen St, this is authentic ramen. The servings are massive and I got the Wonton Ramen and added the spicytan-tan sauce, which I highly recommend. They also have a variety of Japanese beer and sake. I can?t wait to come back and trysomething different. Read more

One of the positives here is the happy hour deal where select appetizers are 1/2 off. The workers inside the restaurant were... also very kind, and service was as expected. Nothing wrong or out of the ordinary in that regard. For the ramen itself, it waspretty average ramen. The broth was flavorful and spicy, and the chili oil on the side made a nice addition to make an evenspicer ramen. My problem with the bowl lies with the noodles and chashu pork. The noodles were a tad too firm for my liking. While this might be more enjoyable for some, I was not a fan. Another problem I had with my bowl was the piece of chashu wassmall, slightly tough, and plain in flavor. Compared to other ramen shops were the pieces of chashu were slightly bigger andmore tender, the piece I had in my bowl was quite small and not at all tender. The seasoning on the chashu seemed to be quiteminimized. The ground pork had a slight nutty flavor from the sesame paste used, but was also slightly dry. I have no problemswith how the service at the ramen shop was, but was just slightly disappointed in the quality. I might venture towards tryingthe happy hour, but wouldn?t go back for the ramen. This Japanese/Vietnamese owned restaurant is a must try if you love ramen, pho, or Asian flavors in general. The prices are... definitely fair for the quality of food. I have tried the shoyu, spicy tan tan, and the black garlic ramen and while they wereall delicious I prefered the spicy tan tan ramen a bit more. The broth is so creamy and a bit spicy. Definitely stop in ifyou're near by. Read more

This place is so cute and delicious. Took my sister out for dinner and our meal was so fulfilling. Mine is the one pictured with... spicy vegetarian tan tan. The broth was rich and hearty, with just the right amount of spicyness. Noodles cooked to perfection.Vegetables were crisp and not over cooked. We had a long wait but that was to be expected by how busy/popular they are (and forgood reason). Our waiter was so cute (should have caught his name. Shorter without the tattoos) and even brought us mochi icecream for the wait ?????? Definitely will be back. Read more

My first bowl of tan tanmen since we left Okinawa, Japan 2 1/2 years ago. It wasn?t as spicy or laden down with as much ground... pork as you would get in Japan, but it was good. We tried to order their mochi donuts but their donut machine was broken. Iwish Mr. Donut Japan would open a franchise in the states. Their pan de lion/pon de ring donuts are the original mochidonuts. The inside of the the restaurant mimicked a Japanese izakaya in a lot of ways. And the place wasn?t hurting forcustomers. So glad we stumbled upon this place on our way back to the parking garage. We had hoped to find something to eat atCentral Market but that place was a madhouse and we bought nothing there. Read more

Partner and I grabbed a bowl and some dumplings. Expertly crafted, delicious, and satisfied that itch for proper ramen we've... been having for years. Can't wait for our next return. Read more

Super nice staffs. I?m in love with the people here. The location is a bit of challenge to find. It?s inside of the building.... You kinda have to look around a bit, but to too frustrated. I order miso ramen. It was delicious but quite thin broth for whatI?m used to. The shrimp dumplings were good, the sauce was so uniquely delicious. The dumpling tho are average but notdisappointing. I also order chusu ramen, not expecting the thickness of the broth anyway. Taste great. The mochi donuts are todie for. I have a thing for that kind of donuts, so that might just be me lol Read more
