It was so comforting to find authentic comida Latino! I was very pleased to see they had Malta India, a sweet malt beverage made... in Puerto Rico. I ordered the Mofongo with shrimp in garlic sauce. It was perfect. The plantain bowl was not dry and the saucewas spread evenly over shrimp and plantain bowl. Also had an Alcapurria made of yucca. I didn't like the food. The pernil was hard and most of it was greasy parts. They have a price that you pay for the container... and they fill it up and the rice had no taste,my son asked for pernil and she put 9 pieces of pernil in the container and thecontainer was half empty. It was closing time and they had a lot of food left . Then I asked for steak and she told me that sheneeded to weight it but the pernil and rice was paid by container and steak was by weight. This was a last minute choice as the other two places we wanted to go to didn?t work out. I?m so glad they didn?t. Everything... was so delicious and flavorful. We don?t speak much Spanish so we mostly guessed based on what looked interesting. We spentabout $35 for all this. Read more
