No frills restaurant. Tables and Chairs are 1 piece like old school nyc pizzerias. Owners are Egyptian and Georgian and are... friendly folks. They were so nice even though we got there 30mins before closing and ordered 4 pizzas to go. They didn't rushus and even politely place the pizza aside while our group finished a pitcher of beer. ???? Pizzas are NYC style. Not bad forPA. ???? They sell pitchers of beer and Adult slushy. Do not order online. 3 out of the 4 past times I've ordered online, something went wrong. Today when I requested a pizza "light... on the mushrooms" I received the opposite. It was almost comical how extra they went on the mushrooms. When I saw the pizza, Itold them there was wayyy too many mushrooms. First, they told me I should have said "easy" on the mushrooms, not "light". Andthen instead of offering to make another pizza they were going to remove them individually using tongs. Venice pizza is a great authentic Italian pizza shop. Serve beer and wine, have one while you?re waiting for dinner or takeout... and enjoy their brick over pizza or hoagies. They have great cheesesteaks and fresh toppings on pizza. My daughter loves theirbuffalo chicken pizza. They make their pizza with their own dough. Also have takeout beer selection. Read more
The seafood pizza is amazing!! Don't shy away from the price. This pizza easily feeds 4 people and is loaded with seafood. ... Tastes much better -and is a better value - than what we were getting down in Maryland in the Bay area. The staff at Venice iswonderful, too. Read more

I spent a weekend in Lancaster. Saturday night was a nightmare trying to get in to eat somewhere or just to have someone pick up... the phone and take your order. One last Google search and I saw this place. While some places had their phones disconnecteduntil the morning, Venice picked right up. 25 minutes to wait until my pure Italian perfection was ready. I don?t use the word?perfect? loosely. The portions were enough for two dinners, salads were delicious with toppings and more than enough dressingprovided, and delicious garlic rolls were a dreamy accompaniment. The worst part of ordering Italian food from here is that I?mnow obsessed, wanting to order it every night and weekend, and can?t because I live 2 hours out. Do your taste buds a favor andgive this place a shot while you?re in Lancaster. I?m already trying to figure out how I can get back to try another pasta dish. Read more
