This was my first time trying Adela?s after hearing such good things about it. I?d have to say I was disappointed. Not a review... I wanted to be leaving. It was not busy at all. Only 3 tables in there. No one came to the front to seat me. After finally beingseated, I waited 10 min before I asked who my waitress was bc I had not been waited on. When the waitress came she told me thewrong special for the day. I had to correct her and she had to go look at the sign to see if that was the special. My meal wasto INCLUDE cheese sauce on the item I ordered, which it did not. I asked for cheese sauce and was told I had to PURCHASE their?one size? cheese sauce. I just purchased the cheese sauce instead of making a big deal. My waitress never came back to my tableto fill my drink or anything until I was finished eating and had been sitting there waiting on my check. Started off good which is why I gave it 2 stars. Right when we sat down they had chips and salsa hot and ready. Food was... mediocre. Customer service and food quality needs work. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. When I got my plate it was onlysteak Fajitas. Then when I told staff they forgot my shrimp, the waitress brought me only 4 shrimp. I had a ton of steak but yesonly 4 shrimp for my ?steak and shrimp fajitas?. (See pic) Also, look at your bill carefully. They do charge gratuity. And theyCHARGE THEIR CUSTOMERS CREDIT CARD SURCHARGES. Which is actually Illegal in 11 states but unfortunately South Carolina is notone of them. So bring cash if you don?t want to pay $4+ more. Cheese on the nachos was pretty watery, but they still tasted pretty good. Chips on the table were great. Both had the chicken... soup, cup size, it was a pretty decent serving size and tasted good Read more
We have been watching this location for awhile when it was listed as Fiesta mexican it changed names over night to Adela's.Its... been busy most night we drive by so we stopped in to try it on a Wednesday night around 730. The decor is great as you walk init looks smaller on the outside, we are sat at a table no wait, waitress says every thing she's has is great even when she hastried things you normally wouldn't think of. I love tortas and decided to try the one they had listed for $16.99 grilledchicken the food comes out and immediately question my choice I ate half of the sandwich realizing not much grilled chicken wason the sandwhich thinking maybe all the chicken was placed on one side by accident no the other side had 6 pieces of cold driedout chicken as seen in the pics. I go to pay give waitress my card and after paying I notice a difference in price all due tousing my card and they say it's due to inflation so the cost of swiping a card cost more ? im a business owner myself and Idon't and would never charge my customers to pay me . not good business practice adding additional fees without letting thecustomer know Read more

While returning from Myrtle, halted for lunch on this roadside restaurant. The place was cosy n clean. We ordered Shrimp fajitas... and Queso de Pollo chicken dish. Chicken dish was good but shrimp fajitas was oily. Still loved it as first mexican eatexperience (Had Tacobell before n was horrible). Complimentary nachos and salsa was good. Read more
Great food and service. Very busy, but we were quickly given a table. Drinks followed soon after and the food was cooked and... served in a timely manner. The one negative was the server who received a cash tip from us, seemed disappointed that hecouldn't keep the change in addition to the tip. Nevertheless, a great overall experience and we will be back. Read more
Excellent customer service had a very great experience there! We were greet with a very warm welcome from the hostess. Manager... came by to check on our table made sure everything was okay , Service was fast and the food was delicious!!! Recommend theTres Generations, good portions, enough for leftovers!!!
